Governor Scott Walker has two words of advice for Trump about his tweets

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was asked whether he had advise for President Trump about the Twitter debacle he is in, and he had two surprising words: "Tweet more."

He made the comments Friday on Fox News to Julie Banderas.

"If you could speak one-on-one to President Trump and give him some friendly advice on his Twitter account, what would it be?" Banderas asked.

"Well I'd tell him, unlike others, I'd tell him to tweet more," Walker responded. "To be on Facebook more, to get the message out more."

"But to be focused!" he clarified. "I think it's great that he has contact with all these great Americans out there and he does unfiltered from many of the media sources out there. But focus."

"Focus on why this Obamacare health care needs to be replaced," he continued. "Focus on the better alternatives. Focus on the need for tax reform to get Americans working. Focus on why your administration is doing good things."

"Talk about those things. Tweet more, I'm fine with that,' Walker added, "but don't get off on the weeds on other issues, focus on the things that the people that elected you said you wanted to have done."

"Talk about why you're doing that, and I think he American people will come along with him," he concluded.

Trump set off yet another media and public firestorm with his tweets when he struck back at criticism from Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski by mocking her appearance. He claimed that Brzezinski begged for his company at Mar-A-Lago but arrived "bleeding badly" from a face-lift.

Brzezinski and Scarborough denied the account in a scathing Washington Post article where they questioned the mental fitness of the president based on his "bizarre behavior" since assuming the Oval Office.

Many of Trump's political allies have come out to decry the comments and demand that he stop tweeting and focus on his agenda. Others, like Walker, have encouraged him to tweet more.
