Gov. Chris Christie personally destroyed on radio show over NJ beach snafu
July 10, 2017
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was eviscerated while guest hosting on Mike Francesa's WFAN sports talk show by a called named "Mike from Montclair," who called the governor a "fat a**" after being photographed having a private beach celebration for the Fourth of July when the NJ beaches were closed to the public.
"Governor, next time you want to sit on a beach that is closed to the entire world except you, you get your fat a** in a car and go to one that is open to all of your constituents, not just you and yours," Mike from Montclair said.
Christie tried to interrupt Mike, but Mike wasn't having it.
With all guns firing, Christie continued through Mike's interruptions and said, "I love getting calls from communists in Montclair ..."
"Communists in Montclair?" Mike added. "You’re a bully, Governor, and I don’t like bullies."
Christie then changed tactics and acted hurt that the caller called him a "fat a**" on the air.
"I'm not the guy who came on the air, swore on the air..."
After debating back and forth, Christie dismissed the caller.
"Mike, you're a bum," he said.
