Video of actor Keanu Reeves, star of the “John Wick” and “Matrix” movies, on the gun range surfaced earlier this month and proved that he’s every bit an expert with firearms.

Reeves’ real-life skill with firearms first came to the public’s attention in 2016 when a 37-second video surfaced of his time on the gun range training for the second go-round in his role as John Wick, in “John Wick: Chapter 2.”

In the video, Reeves, 52, is seen quickly and efficiently shooting targets with AR-15s, shotguns, and pistols.

More footage of Reeves’ expert skill has now surfaced, courtesy of Taran Tactical. In the video, this time lasting more than three minutes, Reeves goes further in showing just how well he handles firearms.

Not only is he fast and accurate, but Reeves shows that just like the “Matrix” trilogy’s Neo, he can run-and-gun with accuracy as well.

This footage is from early July. We don’t know how we missed it, but we think it’s worth sharing:

While interviews about Reeves’ stance on gun rights has not been asked recently, in 2008, the Independent asked the star his opinion on gun control. Reeves acknowledged that it comes with “complications” but that citizens should be able to personally own firearms if they want to.

Despite his skill with guns, however, Reeves said he did not personally own one.

“You mean should citizens be able to have a weapon? Yeah, why not?” Reeves said. “I am not fundamentally against citizens having access to a weapon, but I think that it has complications, the use of it. It’s probably not the wisest thing. Personally, I don’t own a weapon.”

According to an 2016 interview with Range360, Taran Tactical, where Reeves hones his skills, plays host to many Hollywood celebrities who want to learn how to be as efficient with guns as the characters they play. The range is run by Taran Butler, a 13-time national shooting championship winner.

According to Range360, Butler has trained celebrities such as Michelle Rodriguez, Johnny Depp, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Cruise, and James Bond himself, Pierce Brosnan.
