Nationally syndicated radio show host Rush Limbaugh revealed Tuesday why he sometimes has to turn off Fox News: The bevy of female hosts who work for the network can be too "distracting."
During his radio show, Limbaugh noted that at least some of the women of Fox News distract viewers from the news.
“I’m going to have to turn off these TVs in here,” Limbaugh said, referring to Fox News' programming. “There’s another woman up here, I can tell you just had plastic surgery. It’s depressing and distracting.”
The radio host didn't reveal who he was talking about but said that it was either plastic surgery or "an excessive amount of makeup" that rendered the woman's appearance so distracting.
“It doesn’t matter who it is,” Limbaugh added of the woman in question. “I’m not gonna tell you what’s wrong with it, it could just be an excessive amount of makeup but I don’t think so. It’s just a distraction.”
Going further, he said, “On the Fox ['Outnumbered'] show it’s nothing but eight pairs of legs that you see. Why tune into a program when all you see if eight pairs of legs with the skirts halfway up the thigh?”
“What do they expect us to do here?” Limbaugh sad.
