Duck Dynasty' star begs fans to pray for Trump: 'It's not about what he deserves.

Sadie Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" issued a very real, very fervent, and very impassioned plea to people around the world — specifically America — to pray for President Donald Trump.

Why did she pray?

Robertson begged her fans to put differences aside and asked them to join her in praying for Trump as well as the nation.

"It’s not about what he deserves," Robertson said. "It’s not about that. It’s about what we believe, and Mr. Trump, if you’re watching this, I am rooting for you."

About the president, Robertson said, "I wanted to let you know I believe the best in you. I do."

She later added, "As an American citizen, I’m cheering you on, and I want to help shape the passion and the love of our generation."

The 20-year-old "Duck Dynasty" star said she had hopes that her prayer would make a difference in the president's heart, as well as provide support and encouragement for him and the rest of the nation.

What was her prayer?

Robertson began her prayer by thanking God, and praised His name even in "storms" and when "our nations are in chaos."

"God I pray as a nation tonight ... for this country to come together," Robertson prayed. "I pray for the hearts tonight in America that they will become convicted to not live a comfortable lifestyle of hiding in what they know to be right because they're scared to speak it out, because they're scared of what people are going to say."

She went on to pray for leaders, both in office and up-and-coming and asked God to help them be bold in His name.

"God I pray that You protect us from the missiles being fired. I pray that You protect us from the storms coming. I pray that You protect us even from each other, God," Robertson added.

"God, may You just cover this country in love tonight," Robertson prayed.

At the time of this writing, Robertson's video has been viewed over 44,000 times.
