Heartwarming video features young child with brain cancer getting his Halloween wish
October 12, 2017
A young Maine boy with a rare form of brain cancer got his Halloween wish a few weeks early in a viral video watched nearly 12,000 times since Saturday.
What happened in the video?
Seven-year-old Brock Chadwick, who was diagnosed with glioblastoma earlier this year, received hundreds of cards and wishes after his parents put out a call to action in support of their son.
Brock's parents — who have a Facebook page dedicated to their son's journey with cancer — implored strangers to send whatever well wishes possible to their son for the upcoming holiday.
In total, the Chadwick family received nearly 600 cards and 75 packages.
The family revealed their plans to decorate their son's home for Halloween over the upcoming weekend, and noted that family and volunteers have promised to help.
Cards can be sent to: 11 McKenney Drive, Biddeford, ME 04005
