Pop star calls out Oprah: She's been 'part of the problem for decades

World-renowned pop star Seal didn't tiptoe around his feelings toward Oprah Winfrey, calling her out for her alleged knowledge about the accusations of sexual misconduct against former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Seal took to Instagram Wednesday where he accused Winfrey of being "part of the problem for decades. But suddenly they all think you are the solution."

The "Kiss from a Rose" singer posted two memes on his account: One that showed Winfrey kissing Weinstein on the cheek and in the other, the megastar appears to be introducing a young woman to Weinstein.

Winfrey and Weinstein maintained a close friendship for decades. She's denied having any knowledge about his alleged sexual misconduct against women.

Some women have even accused Weinstein of using Winfrey to lure them to him, The Daily Caller reported.

The Instagram post comes on the heels of Winfrey's speech on Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards where she became the first black woman to receive the Cecil B. de Mille Award, an honorary award presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.

Almost immediately after her speech, fans took to social media calling for the 63-year-old billionaire to make a run for president in 2020.

What did Winfrey say in her speech?

Winfrey promised that a “new day was on the horizon” for women as a result of the #MeToo movement and that gender equality would be reached.

"I want tonight to express gratitude to all the women who have endured years of abuse and assault because they, like my mother, had children to feed bills, to pay and dreams to pursue," she said.

Winfrey said she "valued the press even more than ever before."

" ... We all know that the press is under siege these days," she said. "But we also know that it is the insatiable dedication to uncovering the absolute truth that keeps us from turning a blind eye to corruptions and injustice. To tyrants and victims and secrets and lies."

She also spoke about the power of truth, but Winfrey never mentioned the names of those accused of sexual misconduct or about having prior knowledge of such behavior.

"What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have."
