CNN's 'Believer' shows host Reza Aslan eating horrifying foods, allegedly including human brains

A program on CNN called "Believer," threw TheBlaze radio host Mike Opelka for a loop this weekend. The show is hosted by Reza Aslan, and in a recent episode, he is seen drinking alcohol from a human skull and eating human brains. Bizarrely, during the episode, Aslan actually complains about how his brain was cooked.

"Reza Aslan visited with a Hindu sect, and admittedly a fringe Hindu sect. Now the story is of the gory monks, he is shown drinking an alcoholic beverage from a human skull and then eating what he was told was human brain," Opelka said.

Opelka explained how these monks are feared throughout India because they eat people. Upon further description, he said Aslan asked, "Want to know what a dead guy's brain tastes like? Charcoal — it was burnt to a crisp."

Opelka expressed confusion about the host complaining about how his brain was cooked, rather than about eating the organ in the first place. "Would you like your brain, rare, medium, well done, or overdone?"

To see more from Mike, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “Pure Opelka” weekdays 7–10 p.m. ET and Saturdays 6–9 a.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
