Did Trump plagiarize this popular movie character in his speech?

Who said it, the president or Reese Witherspoon?

TV host Jimmy Fallon performed a monologue on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on Monday pointing out the similarities between President Donald Trump’s commencement address at Liberty University and the final scene in “Legally Blonde.”

Doc Thompson and the guys listened to the clip and debated whether or not Elle Woods inspired Trump’s speech on Wednesday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”

“I watched Trump’s commencement speech, and it sounded kind of familiar,” Fallon said.

A supercut video compared Elle’s speech about “passion” and “courage and conviction” to nearly identical wording in Trump’s speech; while definitely edited, the clip showed similarities between the fictional speech and Trump’s real-life address. Among other parallels, Elle closed her speech with “we did it,” while Trump said, “I did it” in his own address.

“The Morning Blaze” crew talked about other times that Trump’s comments have been perceived as similar to speeches from pop culture. Trump used a line in his inauguration speech that is very similar to one that appears in “The Dark Knight” about giving the country back to “you, the people.”

Trump’s ultimate ambition, according to Doc?

“He is so hoping that we are invaded by aliens so he can give that speech the president gave [in the movie],” Doc joked.

“This will be our Independence Day,” the guys quoted in unison.
