"The Morning Blaze" crew entertained the audience Wednesday morning with tales of their first prostate exams. Doc Thompson and Producer Kris Cruz had pretty normal examinations, but Executive Producer Khal Elsebai had an interesting experience with a female doctor.
Doc explained the first time he had his prostate checked was in his 20s, after being admitted to the hospital for an appendicitis, adding that he was in so much pain at the time that he "didn't care at all."
"The next time I had it checked was part of the 'hey you're getting older, you gotta have these things done.' ... I did the full Chevy Chase," Doc quipped.
Khal's experience was prompted by a visit to the hospital for dehydration:
"It was a female doctor, which made it ten times worse. ... She's like, 'I should check your prostate. ... You're dehydrated, drink some water,'" which, in Elsebai's mind, gave him escape from the exam, causing him to say, "No, no no, it's fine, I'm good now.'"
To see more from Doc, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson” weekdays 6–9 a.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
