Female Marine has the full story on illicit photo scandal

Jude Eden, an Iraq war veteran who served in the U.S. Marines, joined “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson” on Wednesday to talk about the investigation into illicit photo-sharing in the Marines.

The Defense Department has been conducting an investigation into secret Facebook pages and Google docs where Marines were sharing naked photos of female Marines and veterans along with personal information and obscene commentary. Two Marines have been demoted, while two dozen others have been under investigation, the Associated Press reported in early April.

Eden explained the nuances of the story and called out liberal feminists for their secret agenda to scapegoat the Marines. While illicit photo-sharing is a problem in all military branches, only the Marines have been spotlighted because they resisted integrating women into combat units, Eden asserted.

“What’s happening is feminists are exaggerating the extent of this scandal because they have their own agenda,” Eden said. “They still want Marine Corps boot camp integrated, and they want to see triple the number of women in the Marines.”

She talked about her positive experience serving with men and women in the Marines and reminded the audience that the men sharing naked photos of their exes as well as following female Marines to snap pictures of them are the exception, not the rule.

“The majority of women have been able to come through their service unscathed,” Eden said.
