Former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones explains why she honored military families with her new music video

A former Pussycat Dolls singer has launched a new single that will feature an homage to the U.S. military in its music video.

Singer Kaya Jones, who has spoken to TheBlaze about being a conservative in the music industry, joined Thursday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson” to talk about her latest single, “What the Heart Don’t Know,” and why she’s trying to write more love songs.

In this tumultuous political year, Jones is aiming to write more songs about love for her next album. She shared a teaser about her upcoming music video, which will pay homage to the military and what military families go through.

“It was a lot of filming; it was a ton of different scenes and setups,” she said of the music video, describing it as a “mini-movie.”

Jones explained why it was important for her to honor military members and their families with her new song:

“It was something that I think more people need to be aware of, being cognizant of military families and what they sacrificed for us.”
