Fox News announces Bill O'Reilly's replacement

On Thursday’s “Pat & Stu,” the guys talked about the shuffle over at Fox News and how Bill O’Reilly’s exit will affect the lineup.

Conservative pundit Tucker Carlson, who came in to replace Megyn Kelly when she left for NBC News, will take over O’Reilly’s coveted 8 p.m. time slot.

“Has anyone walked into a situation better than Tucker Carlson?” Stu Burguiere asked incredulously. “This guy’s just being handed the top gig in all of cable news. It’s incredible.”

Pat Gray also couldn’t quite believe how much the commentator had lucked out when it came to timing.

“That’s incomprehensible,” he said.

Carlson, who has only been a Fox News host since last fall, is taking over a prime spot and sliding into the seat of a veteran. O’Reilly has been with Fox News for more than 20 years, and “The O’Reilly Factor” is the No. 1 show on cable news.

To see more from Pat & Stu, visit their channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “Pat & Stu” with Pat Gray, Stu Burguiere and Jeffy Fisher weekdays 5–7 p.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
