Fox News just had another big shake-up

Fox News co-president Bill Shine has resigned in the latest shake-up for the network.

Shine, who had been with Fox News since 1996, moved up to co-president after CEO Roger Ailes was forced out amid allegations of sexual harassment. Since Shine worked closely with Ailes, there had been speculation that he would also be caught up in the turmoil.

Fox News has been weathering scandal and major changes after Ailes and host Bill O’Reilly both resigned following accusations of sexual harassment. The channel was also recently hit with a lawsuit alleging that racism was a systemic problem at the network as well as a host of other lawsuits alleging other forms of discrimination.

On Tuesday’s “Pat & Stu,” Pat Gray scoffed at Rupert Murdoch’s pretended distance from the situation when he found it likely that the Murdoch family forced Shine out of the network.

“This would be like us hassling Jeffy to leave every day and then when he finally does … we’re like ‘I don’t know why Jeffy left! All of a sudden he’s gone!'” Pat joked.

To see more from Pat & Stu, visit their channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “Pat & Stu” with Pat Gray, Stu Burguiere and Jeffy Fisher weekdays 5–7 p.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
