Glenn Beck explains what Ben Carson and the late pop singer Michael Jackson have in common
March 07, 2017
As we reported yesterday, Housing and Urban Development Director Ben Carson is in hot water over some comments he made Monday during his first speech to his staff, in which he referred to slaves brought to America as "immigrants." Though the remarks did not appear to garner a negative reaction from the crowd, social media quickly erupted with outrage.
Though Carson and the HUD office initially defended his statements, he later felt the need to clarify that the experiences of slaves and voluntary immigrants were significantly different.
Tuesday morning on "The Glenn Beck Radio Program," Glenn and the guys reflected on the incident and had a good laugh at Ben Carson's mellow speaking style, which reminded them of the departed King of Pop.
"I think he has all of the abilities, the electric speaking abilities of Michael Jackson," Glenn joked.
