Jasser: Trump's trip to the Middle East is more important than the media's latest demands

President Donald Trump began his first foreign visit to the Middle East this weekend, starting with Saudi Arabia. On this weekend's "Reform This!" Dr. Zhudi Jasser commented on why this trip is more important than the domestic squabbles at home.

Many in the media called for the President to abandon the trip, demanding that he stay in the United States to address accusations of obstruction of justice and talk of impeachment.

Jasser felt these distractions put him way behind in what he should be doing to ensure better vetting of refugees. He wanted Trump to protect the U.S. from theocratic ideologies, and thought these domestic annoyances steal oxygen from that endeavor.
