Journalists are now asking elected officials for their favorite swear words

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was asked her favorite swear word in an interview on CBS News. Her answer? "Poop."

On Tuesday’s “Pat & Stu,” the guys took a look at the clip with CBS correspondent Chip Reid and were unimpressed with Warren’s choice of “poop.” Warren gave this explanation of her favorite curse word: “Have you ever seen a woman like me look you in the face after you’ve finished a long explanation of something and then just said ‘poop’?”

“That was painfully stupid,” Pat Gray summed it up. “I feel embarrassed for both of them.”

Stu compared the interview to another embarrassingly memorable moment with a politician. “I feel almost as squeamish as after the Al Gore poem,” he said. “Definitely gives you the chills in a weird way.”

In 2009, the politician wrote an apocalyptic poem on climate change for his book “Our Choice,” sharing it with the world by reading it aloud on CBS News.

Naturally, Pat, Stu and Jeffy Fisher finished the segment by trying out their best Gore impressions.

“Yeah, that was awful,” Stu concluded.
