Pat and Stu hope Trump's absence will speed up the end of Correspondents' Dinner
February 27, 2017
President Donald Trump announced that he will not attend the White House Press Correspondents' Dinner. He will be the first president to miss the event since Ronald Reagan in 1981, who was absent because he had been shot by a would-be assassin.
Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere examine Trump's statement and applaud the president for not being vindictive in his declining to attend, as he did not demean the event and wished everyone else a good time. In fact, the guys hope that this will be the first step to the event going away altogether.
