People admit their ‘biggest mistakes’ are always in these 2 areas of life
July 31, 2017
The more things change, the more we need to depend on things that never change – such as the importance of sex and money in our lives.
Rabbi Daniel Lapin talked about what happens when he asks people their three biggest mistakes in life on this week’s episode of “The Rabbi Daniel Lapin Show.” People never say their biggest mistake involved food or gardening; they always point to bad life decisions in two certain areas.
“The two biggest mistake areas are sex and money,” Rabbi Lapin said.
He recommended reading at least the first 25 pages of Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” to better understand the deep connection between our relationship to sex and our relationship to money.
“Love is blind, they say; sex is impervious to reason and mocks the power of all philosophers,” Rand wrote. “But, in fact, a man's sexual choice is the result and the sum of his fundamental convictions. Tell me what a man finds sexually attractive and I will tell you his entire philosophy of life.”
