Rabbi Lapin: Western societies are dying; here's why we should work to preserve them

Western civilization is still the world’s best hope, Rabbi Daniel Lapin asserted on this week’s episode of “The Rabbi Daniel Lapin Show.”

He explained that his decision to live in a Western society was an informed one; even after experiencing many other places and cultures, he found nothing better.

“I can assure you that the choice to live within a Western civilization society was not a hard one for me to make at all,” Rabbi Lapin said.

He criticized a recent column from the New York Times’ Bret Stephens that included Marx, Lenin and Hitler in “the West,” asking what had happened to the iconic newspaper. “Institutions have a certain momentum,” and the Times is rapidly going downhill, he asserted.
