Salcedo: As a Catholic, this is what I wish Pope Francis had given Trump

Pope Francis gave President Donald Trump his encyclical on climate change during their visit on Wednesday. Chris Salcedo had some ideas for better gifts on "The Chris Salcedo Show" recently.

Chris suggested material on Saint Faustina, the prophecies of the Virgin Mary or Our Lady of Guadalupe. "I would have preferred that Pope Francis had dug down into the rich, deep faith that is Catholicism to pass on some wisdom from Catholicism, not ... the past ten years," he said.

As a practicing Catholic, he did not understand why the gift was of this world and not spiritual.

He would also have liked if Trump gifted His Holiness a copy of the Constitution of the United States. He instead gave him a first edition set of books written by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
