See the scathing responses from the left for Hillary's latest blame game

Even the mainstream media can no longer ignore the failure of former Secretary of State and 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to inspire her base.

Today on "Pure Opelka," Mike Opelka shared and analyzed commentary by the more left leaning cable news networks CNN and MSNBC after Clinton spoke with Christiane Amanpour at an event in New York last night.

Clinton told her "If the election had been on October 27, I would be your president." She then claimed she took "absolute personal responsibility" before stating that Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Jim Comey and WikiLeaks turned voters away from her.

Director Comey sent a letter to congressional leaders on October 28, 2016, opening an investigation as to whether classified material was on Clinton's private email server.

Jake Tapper, reporting for CNN, said "Hillary Clinton today accepting full responsibility for the election loss except for the part where she blamed Comey, Putin, Wikileaks, misogyny and the media."

Joe Scarborough of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" turned on Clinton much more directly, squarely referring to her excuses for losing to Donald Trump "pathetic." Real Time's Bill Maher said "She couldn't fill the function room in the Olive Garden."

Despite this criticism, Mike does not believe the Clintons are going away. They seem to be putting much of their energy into their daughter, Chelsea.
