Bill Nye, formerly “The Science Guy” on PBS, has released a new show on Netflix aimed at adults.
On Tuesday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” the guys looked at a particularly bad clip from “Bill Nye Saves the World.” The new Netflix show is a variety hour of sorts that combines science and entertainment from celebrities, and Nye enlisted actress Rachel Bloom to sing about sex, gender and the surrounding political debate.
Bloom and backup dancers sang and danced in a peculiarly awkward number called “My Sex Junk” that tried to teach the audience that “sexuality is a spectrum” and pansexuality is “just evolution.” The song went viral after a Netflix user grabbed the clip and posted it to YouTube.
The result was “one of the worst three minutes of entertainment ever put together,” according to Stu Burguiere. “And by the way, we’ve got like five of the top 10 so we know,” he added.
“We are lifetime achievement award winners when it comes to bad entertainment,” Glenn Beck quipped.
