Terrence Williams on the protests over Confederate statues: 'Just go home and go to bed

YouTube personality Terrence Williams boldly and hilariously asks the question many of us have been wondering: “Why y’all mad today?” Why are Confederate memorials upsetting people this week, when no one seemed to notice them before?

Williams tweeted a video venting his frustration on the numerous occurrences across the nation of vandalism, defacement, and outright illegal removal of a variety of statues. He recognizes that it was kicked off by the Unite the Right march in Charlottesville, Virginia, that resulted in the death of Heather Heyer.

But he also says, “Y’all acting like [President] Donald Trump was head of the d**n rally.” He added, “He ain’t got nothing to do with that,” and said he was probably eating “a thousand dollar steak” while the white supremacists marched.

He then jokes that half of the people protesting didn’t finish high school or even learn about Civil War or the Confederacy. He tells fellow black people, “Abraham Lincoln kicked their a**,” and said that the statues, many of which are decades old, are a part of history.

Chris Salcedo remarked on today’s “Chris Salcedo Show” that this young man is demonstrating how Democrats frequently demand “a solution without a problem.”

He also agreed with Williams' assertion that if former President Barack Obama had done a good job “fixing racism,” all of this strife wouldn’t be going on today.
