Trump reportedly narrows down Supreme Court pick to 5-8 names

Glenn Beck reacts to the rumored "short list" of Donald Trump's potential Supreme Court picks reported by Politico. Glenn is troubled by some of the names due to their judicial histories, and he and Pat Gray discus what impact Trump's pick could have on the future of Obamacare.

"Most of them are really good," Glenn clarifies. "The ones that it's come down to — I guess it's come down to the final four — and there's two of them that are really bad and two of them that are really good."

Glenn and Pat express their support for Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and his brother Thomas Lee, an associate justice on Utah's Supreme Court, for the vacant seat, but they doubt the GOP would invest the time and energy needed to push through such an unheralded pick.

"There are a lot of people who are just too good for the job, who just won't be considered because nobody wants to fight for them," Pat says. "Nobody wants to put that kind of political capital on the line to seriously fight for an excellent Supreme Court candidate."
