Watch: North Korea's bizarre new propaganda video has dancing troops

In real life, North Korea has released a new propaganda video featuring soldiers dancing in sync, complete with high kicks. “I’m taking it as, that they are challenging us to some kind of dance-off,” Doc Thompson said on Wednesday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”

Doc introduced a satirical take imagining a very special “Dancing with the Stars” where President Donald Trump and North Korea’s “Dear Leader” Kim Jong Un face off on the dance floor. Surely the U.S. and North Korea can settle their differences peacefully now!

“I think we can take him,” Doc declared. “I think Donald Trump would do us justice.”

Released last week by the state news agency DPRK Today, the propaganda video alternates footage of troops performing complicated group dance routines with clips of the North Korean military training on the field, carrying guns and using explosives to blow up small buildings. Leaping, saluting and high-kicking, men in fatigues dance in sync on a stage under strobe lights.

North Korea, a country infamous for indoctrinating its citizens with propaganda from birth, encourages synchronized sports and performances with its mass games, which feature the world’s largest gymnastics display.
