‘Get Out!’: MSNBC‘s O‘Donnell Tosses ’Queen of the Birthers’ Off His Show

MSNBC‘s Lawrence O’Donnell abruptly ended an interview with queen birther Orly Taitz Wednesday after screaming at her for several minutes.

Things turned ugly when “The Last Word” host refused to allow his guest to discuss President Obama’s Selective Service certificate and Taitz responded by saying, “Your program is nothing but Obama propaganda machine”

    As much as I disagree with Lawrence O’Donnell, I must say, this woman is insane.

    I am not now nor have I ever been a birther, however, I believe ALL presidents should show/release their birth certificate.

    Lawrence is right here in demanding that she stop spewing conspiracy all over his show. It is his show.

    As much as I disagree with him usually, he is correct here.

      While he may be correct the idea of introducing anyone with the line that“she will now have the opportunity to apologize for three years of lies” hardly lends itself to a decent conversation. Shame on her for not rising to the ocassion. Shame on him for being a bully. Being right, even if it is only once in a blue moon, doesn’t give one the right to bully others. This was a travesty from both sides.

    My sense is O’Donnell was hoping this would happen and steered the interview into a confrontation to make it happen. Rising above the fray but not above his already lousy and getting lousier ratings.

    He’ll be over with Oaferman on Current TV before the end of the year and certainly but the time the 2012 race heats up.

    Received an e mail bout the SS# problem- if true- was used to file fed tax return in Connecticut to avoid NY taxes & # matched no one? but was assigned to return- appears to be a felony w/ no statuette of limitations..could get interesting..

    No matter how you feel about the birth certificate issue, no one should be treated with such disrespect by a so called professional. I would have liked to hear her opinion.

      eicram61: This is the characteristic of the progressive! I’ve told you all this on this website many times. I also spent last night studying the birth certificate and the font used to type it. Vision to America has several articles about it on their website. Please check it out. I said the day before that Obama and his people would come up with a birth certificate before the election.       He was absolutely right to shout her down. The birth certificate is an important news story, but she refused to talk about it. The social security number and selective service form are not a news story because we have no reason to believe they are real. To show them on tv would be abetting a fraud if they are fake and violating the privacy of an American citizen if they are real. Contrary to what some of you seem to believe, being President doesn’t mean completely giving up your right to privacy. I do not recall any elected official ever being required to publicly disclose their social security number, and we’re not going to start now.
