‘I Am American’: Muslims, Christians & Jews Unite to Counter Koran-Burning Pastor’s Visit to Dearborn

Via WJBK:

Muslims, Christians and Jews — all faiths calling out for people to stand up and do something about Pastor Terry Jones’ visit on Friday. Jones is planning an appearance in front of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn.

Several Christians and Muslims are coming together and planning peaceful demonstrations leading up to the event. They’re calling theirs “I Am American”.

“There has been a man who has planned a trip to Dearborn to harm and hurt our relationship that we have here in this city and this region with Muslims,” said Rev. Charles Williams II with Historic King Solomon Baptist Church.

“He burns the Koran. Indeed it is an insult against Christianity, against Jesus because the Koran mentions Jesus for more than 124 times,” said Imam Sayed Hassam Al-Qazwini.

Security will be tight on Friday in and around the Islamic center. Counter protests against Pastor Jones include an Episcopalian church holding a demonstration against “Islam-a-phobia”, as they call it. Their main messenger, they believe, is Pastor Jones himself.

“It’s un-American for Pastor Jones to provoke and to try to polarize our brothers and sisters as less than American,” Rowe said.

To those who want Judaism expelled~~~ ain’t gonna happen!

Number one, because the JEWS are GOD’s chosen people, and ISRAEL, their country is GOD’s country.

Number two, because the REAL AMERICANS AND CHRISTIANS support ISRAEL and the JEWS both here and there.

Number three, because GOD HIMSELF is in charge and you dare not touch HIS kids, ever.

Personally, I think it would be a good thing if all muslimes went back to the middle east from all over the world and left the rest of us alone. But, since you serve satan, and this is the battle, the spiritual battle for “all the marbles”, you won’t use your own heads, but will continue to be brain and soul dead puppets of your sick, twisted leaders. That’s sad.

GOD has give the muslimes so many opportunities to see other cultures and to grow and to mature and to see how others of different faiths CAN live together and CAN and DO love one another. The muslimes continue to spit in GOD’s face. I guess the agnostics and atheists do, too. And, that’s sad.

Time is running out, folks. You need to decide WHOM it is you serve. You cannot serve GOD and mammon. ONE of the other…. JEHOVAH GOD or satan. There is no in between.

Why does the West embrace Islam? It is not because Islam is wanted it is because Christianity is not.
They would rather have Barabbas then Jesus. Anything is better then God ruling over them. Even if Barabbas kills them.
THE HATRED FOR CHRIST AND CHRISTIANITY IS AMAZING and has always been.
The bottom line is men do not want the God of the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ. Until America repents and turns back to “Biblical” Christianity (NOT CATHOLIC OR MORMON) soon Judgement is coming.

the koran needs burning for it’s call to kill al infidels.
    KORAN commands to kill infidels:

Allah is an enemy to unbelievers. – Sura 2:98

On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. – Sura 2:161

Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. – 2:191

Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme. (different translation: ) Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God’s entirely. – Sura 2:193 and 8:39

Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. – 2:216
(different translation: ) Prescribed for you is fighting, though it is hateful to you.

    ….. martyrs…. Enter heaven – Surah 3:140-43

If you should die or be killed in the cause of Allah, His mercy and forgiveness would surely be better than all they riches they amass. If you should die or be killed, before Him you shall all be gathered. – 3:157-8

You must not think that those who were slain in the cause of Allah are dead. They are alive, and well-provided for by their Lord. – Surah 3:169-71

Let those fight in the cause of God who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fights in the cause of God, whether he is slain or victorious, soon we shall give him a great reward. – Surah 4:74

Those who believe fight in the cause of God, and those who reject faith fight in the cause of evil. – 4:76

But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever you find them. – 4:89

Therefore, we stirred among them enmity and hatred, which shall endure till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will declare to them all that they have done. – 5:14

O believers, take not Jews and Christians as friends; they are friends of each other. Those of you who make them his friends is one of them. God does not guide an unjust people. – 5:54

Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme – 8:39

O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there are 20 steadfast men among you, they shall vanquish 200; and if there are a hundred, they shall rout a thousand unbelievers, for they are devoid of understanding. – 8:65

It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he has made slaughter in the land. – 8:67

Allah will humble the unbelievers. Allah and His apostle are free from obligations to idol-worshipers. Proclaim a woeful punishment to the unbelievers. – 9:2-3

When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. – 9:5

Believers! Know that idolators are unclean. – 9:28

Fight those who believe neither in God nor the Last Day, nor what has been forbidden by God and his messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, even if they are People of the Book, until they pay the tribute and have been humbled. – 9:29 (another source: ) The unbelievers are impure and their abode is hell. (another source: ) Humiliate the non-Muslims to such an extent that they surrender and pay tribute.

Whether unarmed or well-equipped, march on and fight for the cause of Allah, with your wealth and your persons. – 9:41

O Prophet! Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites. Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey’s end. – 9:73

Allah has purchased of their faithful lives and worldly goods, and in return has promised them the Garden. They will fight for His cause, kill and be killed. – 9:111

Fight unbelievers who are near to you. 9:123 (different translation:
Believers! Make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Let them find harshness in you. (another source: ) Ye who believe! Murder those of the disbelievers….

As for those who are slain in the cause of Allah, He will not allow their works to perish. He will vouchsafe them guidance and ennoble their state; He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them. – 10:4-15

Allah has cursed the unbelievers and proposed for them a blazing hell. – 33:60

Unbelievers are enemies of Allah and they will roast in hell. – 41:14

When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks, then when you have made wide slaughter among them, tie fast the bonds, then set them free, either by grace or ransom, until the war lays down its burdens. – 47:4
(different translation: ) When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads, and when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly.

Those who are slain in the way of Allah – he will never let their deeds be lost. Soon will he guide them and improve their condition, and admit them to the Garden, which he has announced for them. – 47:5

Muslims are harsh against the unbelievers, merciful to one another. – 48:25

Muhammad is Allah’s apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another. Through them, Allah seeks to enrage the unbelievers. – 48:29

Prophet! Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal sternly with them. Hell shall be their home, evil their fate. – 66:9

The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans shall burn forever in the fire of hell. They are the vilest of all creatures. – 98:51

This is yet another upsetting event. I’m with those that say the pastor had every right to burn the Koran if it is his property (which it was), didn’t violate any laws (he didn’t). Now I think it was “unwise”, but his right & this has been purposefully blown out of proportion to get Christians to be united with Muslims in this condemnation, which is not good – for many, it’s to further the Islamic goals in this country (which is to take it over). Just as maybe pastor Jones was unwise in doing what he did, this Rev. Williams is doing the same thing and is destructive, not constructive like he thinks. Reminds me of that other weird Baptist church that goes to funerals to protest the ones for our troops. They think they’re in the right too – and they do have those rights to protest peacefully. But another very “unwise” deal. What about Bibles that are burned all over the world and also in this nation? You hear nothing & don’t expect to hear any complaints – and everyone knows the Christians won’t retaliate or cause trouble. Not so with Muslims. And has anyone checked out the crimes & problems Dearborn (the Muslim capital of the U.S.) is having with them? Also reminds me of the big fuss re a mosque at ground zero. Great site for all Americans to check: http://www.actforamerica.com

Hungry_i: “Among other things, that He was born miraculously to the Virgin Mary”

Not begotten, but created, like Adam.

==> “that He was a Messenger of God,”

No, not an uppercase Messenger, not even a lowercase messenger. A prophet. Only Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah — which is a good thing. Keep Jesus out of that relationship.

==> “that He was the Seal of the Israel prophets”

Yeah, as in “shut up, Jesus.” You are no longer relevant — and, by extension, neither are Jews or Christians.

==> “that He was given the ability to perform miracles and was Divinely chosen to spread God’s message.”

Uh-huh, but unfortunately, Jesus was filled with pride and made himself to be like God (wasn’t that what the DEVIL did too??), and LIED (which according to the Bible would make Him a FALSE prophet), by declaring He was the Son of God and therefore equal to God.

So, and here comes the best part, Muhammad, the pedophile and inventor of jihad, was sent to undo Jesus’ lie and bring people back to Allah. It makes a lot of sense that Allah would send Muhammad. They are one of a kind.

Could I use the Koran as a doorstop? How about to balance a table leg, what if I used it for target practice or as a coloring book? I think we should show Islam just as much respect as they show the rest of the religions in the world, and if they don’t like it, just remember the sign in my front yard “If you can read this, you are now in range”.

Living in the Detroit this is a hot bed for all types of twisted off-shoots of religion that hide under Christianity, just like BHO’s so called pastor. If you do not know Dearborn. Mi has one of, if not the, greatest populations of muslims in this country. Of course they are here because of the Jewish population. They follow the Jewish people around like those sucker fish on sharks. Always have, always will.
So the media exposure to this Fla. gentleman has got him addicted. As Betterdays had said earlier we are in a spiritual battle. I do not condone Bible burning but it has become accepted in this age.

The Bible burning used to bother me earlier on, but I have been shown better now. My God is living and living in me. A dead god that lives in a book and can be destroyed by a bic lighter has no power over me and does not scare me. I have worked in jails, prisons, psych wards with the criminally insane, on the streets, and in churches. I can say that I am a spiritual warfare veteran. It is know so easy for me to be shown what is in a person. We are very complex beings in how we exist, but very basic in our our make up, behavior wise.
The old cartoons of the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other is spot on. It all boils down to which dog you decide to feed.
God is alive, the angels around us are not here to keep us alive as much as they are to do spiritual battle. So if angles are here…….what are they here for and with whom are they doing battle with?

Those that so not know the answers to what I have posed here have already made their choice, but you still have the breathe of life in you.

Kind of like how Obama has done the same thing, but the right to be divisive is protected by our “American” Constitution. The pastor is an idiot, but I would hope to see these same american muslims and supporters protesting the violent murderous reactions against innocent americans and Christians in other parts of the world over what this pastor did.

An expression of the best mankind has to offer, evidence of the effect of God‘s love and Christ’s teachings on the world. People of diverse backgrounds and experiences coming together in peace.

There, no here at this website. Here you find hatred toward anything Muslim. Here Pastor Jones finds support, regardless of how much violence and death he incites elsewhere in the world (12 dead in Pakistan which I’m not saying was justified, but which I am saying would not have happened were it not for Jones actions).

And what do the Muslims in Far East say on their websites? They say Jones represents all Christians, just as you here say Bin Laden represents all Muslims.

You can throw your support to Christian Pastor Jones, based not on teachings of Christ but on your hatred of Muslims, and I wish you luck when you talk to St. Peter.

If you want to hear what real Muslims think, rather than what this and other websites would lead you to believe they think, watch this documentary about Dearborn:

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5ttyjDvc68

Love the name calling, the pastor isn’t an idiot, the koran is a war manual/training guide used in the Muslim’s war against Christianity. Islam has noting to do with religion, it’s a government without borders, and deserves no protection by our constitution. Calling those telling the truth names doesn’t make it true, anymore than declaring that there is a gay gene means there is one, declaring that man made global warming was going to kill us all by 2010 didn’t make it happen.

Everyone in this nation should burn or throw away every copy of the koran they can get their hands on, every time you go in a hotel room that has one, you should throw it away, or take it home with you and put it in your trash can there, not call this man an idiot and try to prevent him from telling the truth.

Jews, Christians and Muslims unite — and build the Gate of Israel.

When renowned artist Marc Richard Rubin was painting his requested Biblical exhibition on the lineage and history of the Jewish people for Holocaust survivors in the early 2000′s , (online exhibition: http://www.marcrubin.com/or.ivnu ) one night while listening to music under the headphones he heard a voice so loud, he thought someone else was in the room. He wrote down what he heard, and as Marc related, his pen seemed to write by itself; he struggled to grasp it.

What Marc received were the schematics and reason for the “Gate of Israel”.http://www.marcrubin.com/pylon.ivnu While the “Palestinians” plot for international recognition of their terror state this September., what “SYMBOLIC facts on the ground” can Israel create to demonstrate the absurdity and futility of the Palestinian false claim to Eretz Yisrael?

The blueprints are a seed. Only the PEOPLE of Israel can bring the Gate of Israel to fruition. Let everyone you know who loves Israel know about the Gate of Israel.

82dAirborne, I find your post most ironic of all. “The only speech that really needs protection is that speech that offends others.” Pastor Jones has been banned from entering the UK Airborne.

      http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/8270367/Koran-protest-US-pastor-Terry-Jones-banned-from-UK.html

Your idea that he doesn‘t offend anyone isn’t just wrong, it’s delusional. And it shows me what an incredible narrow world you live in. Here is a man who seemingly has no other purpose in life other than incite violence, and that‘s apparently fine with you because he isn’t “offending anyone” (which actually does not violate the Constitution). Here’s what the local newspaper says:

      http://dearborn.patch.com/articles/quran-burner-terry-jones-upcoming-dearborn-protest-ignites-fear-of-violence.

You say you don’t “hate people who want you dead” but you don’t “hate them.” Well said. One one thing is clear: you have never spoken to a single Muslim have you? Why don’t you go to your local Mosque and ask them about their religion. They’d be happy to talk to you. But you won’t, because you are a big chicken who is afraid to talk to anyone who might contradict the fears you cherish so dearly and give meaning to your life.

BetterDays, “Get the behind me Satan”? Were you refering to this statement of mine?:

Another good example of people of all races, creeds and religions, joining together in support of acceptance and tolerance of their fellow inhabitant of this planet. An expression of the best mankind has to offer, evidence of the effect of God‘s love and Christ’s teachings on the world. People of diverse backgrounds and experiences coming together in peace.

If I understand you, people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs coming together in support of peaceful relations, as the Prince of Peace taught, is a tempting thought from Satan, but indiscriminate hatred of an entire group of people, 20% of the world’s population, is what Jesus is drawing you toward.

In your prayers tonight, explain to Christ how you love a Pastor who incites, fear, hatred and violence, and how you dismiss those who would make peace as “minions” (nice word, got it from Trump didn’t you?) of the Devil.

Glenn sure hates this guy. Let him protest. Muslims burn the American flag everyday. Don’t see this group telling radical not to come to America. Total double standard.

Freedom of speech and expression is not un-American. It may be distasteful at times, but it is distinctly an American trait to speak your mind in any damned way you please. I will criticize the opposition here in these united States, but I never say that their speaking their minds is un-American.

Since when is it wrong for someone like Terry Jones to expose evil? These that are standing with the Muslims are the biggest hypocrites, the Bible even says what fellowship does light have with the darkness and not to be yoked with unbelievers. Terry Jones has done nothing wrong by trying to expose the true face of Islam that many are still amazingly ignorant of the threat of Islam. They obviously must have forgot about the carnage and slaughter of innocent people by the Barbarian Muslims overseas. Why are people so ignorant to believe that Islam is going to be any different here once their numbers are great enough here, have infiltrated enough positions of power, and maybe get laws drafted in like they have in Europe where one word against Islam gets you arrested.
Where in the Bible does it say that Christians are supposed to stand with and support Satan!

Tell your homies to quit killing people and publicly denounce all violence towards Christians and we’ll talk about peace. Show peace and you’ll get peace. Otherwise, prepare to be glassed over.

      @82dAirborne:
Exactly right: what good is 1st-amendment freedom of speech if it doesn’t include freedom of offensive speech?

      @JZS:
Jones does in fact offend nearly everyone! That‘s why he’s been banned in the UK, which does not have a 1st amendment.

When will we hold the people responsible for the killing rather than condemning someone who is exercising his first amendment right. When they stop burning the American flag I will stop burning their book. Also when did the koran become more important than the bible? I don’t need someone telling me that the koran means more to them than the bible means to me.

How many Buddhists rioted and killed when their Buddhas were blown up by the Taliban a mere 6 months before 9-11-2001? I’m pretty sure the answer is NONE.

      ———-
Burning the Quran is not exposing evil. Glenn exposes evil; Jones taunts evil, and as a result innocent people have died and our troops are at greater risk. If it is too hard for you to understand how burning the Quran endangers our troops, Christians in Muslim countries and Westerners in general, then you don’t really understand Islam, which only goes to show that Jones has not enlightened anyone by burning the Quran.
