When the devastating tornado hit Tuscaloosa, Alabama in late April, it also damaged some of the surrounding communities. The neighboring town of Phil Campbell, Alabama was virtually destroyed on April 28th. Just over 1000 people lived in the town, and 26 of them were killed by the massive tornado that ripped through the area.
Of course FEMA came by to help, and the local agencies are supporting as best they can, but the most heart-warming story about Phil Campbell, AL came from Phil Campbell… we should say from Phil CAMPBELLS. Men sharing the same name as the Alabama town have come to help rebuild their namesake.
“NBC Nightly News” had the story last night:

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 1:16pmOnly in America, will we find this kind of spirit, and determination. We can count on the American people to roll up thier sleeves and pitch in to help a stranger in need. As often as you hear of bad news and bad behaivor, a story like this shines trough the darkness.I am eternaly greatfull for the blessing of being an American, and live in a land so wonderfull as this. Tragedies will always happen, but a fellow American will be there to lend a hand.

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 3:24pmSHOWS AMERICANS CAN DO ANYTHING THEY PUT THEIR MINDS TO:
And yet the President wants to take away our freedoms and ability to do things like this. This is why our economy is faultering, we are having our opportunities taken away, and Obama has no clue, as Rep. Allen West put it: http://tiny.cc/nsvaj
