As a taxpayer, I don‘t care if you’re white, black, yellow, green or purple, it’s problematic when we as a society pay people not to work. This system of public assistance breeds apathy. It hurts the recipients of these benefits regardless of their particular race or ethnicity. It tears apart the family unit as well. Our current system of public assistance penalizes the family unit. It encourages unwed mothers, it encourages a lack of morality among fathers and the children suffer. The current system causes the cycle to become generational. Anyone that disagrees becomes a “racist.” I disagree totally!

The race based prism through which she views the world has drastically skewed her perspective to the point where it is unrecognizable to most people on these issues. The amazing thing is how she present herself and her views as though they are perfectly plausible much of the time. When she does talk about things without the racial slant, she can make sense.

A true American that doesn’t expect other true Americans to pay their way. If a true American is hit by hard times, then the rest of us true Americans should help them as much as we can without harming ourselves. I don’t have a problem with giving, I have a problem with people generationally living, and expecting, true Americans to make their living for them, via entitlements. This mentality of entitlements has to stop. I will share my food, my heat, my money, anything I have, that my family can spare, with any true Amerian hit by hard times. But only if that true American is willing to get back on his/her feet and contribute and give back, when they can, what was given to them by true Americans. Is this too much to ask for?

Your post is the exact reason I have never run away from being called “homophobic”. I live in the real world, and in the real world, there are people like me that don’t think being Gay is normal or moral, so we tend to stay away from Gays. If that’s being homophobic then I wear that badge proudly.
Now, to be perfectly clear… this does NOT mean that I act like a bigot in any way towards Gay people. I treat them with respect as long as they treat me with respect. If a Gay man comes-on to me, I tell them that I’m 100% straight and have no interest in their advancements. If they continue their remarks or flirtations, then I get in their face. And the only reason for me to get in their face has to do with THEM not respecting me.
Of course progressives don’t understand real-world logic, so to them I’m a mean and nasty Christian Conservative that eats small children for dinner.
