    The question no one seems to ask Mr. Wallace is, does he as a believer in Christ think that if they redistributed all of the wealth of the world equally among all its inhabitants would that bring about the kingdom of heaven here on earth? No one asks it because the answer is obvious.
    Simply put, Wallace is a political hack, who doesn’t seem to get how irrelevant he is. As soon as Obama is through with him, he will be disposed of like Jeremiah Wright.

    Obama used the words “Collective Salvation”. That is NOT something a Christian would say. Salvation is given to an individual based on his/her faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for his/her sins.

      Excellent point, Pilgrim. This is a pattern that all those who have a will to power and to consolidate power use: “It’s for the greater good”. For Christians, we’ve already been forewarned of this tactic. At the same time that He’s emphasizing a worldview where we each have a responsibility to “widows and orphans”, Jesus also tells us that the poor will always be with us. Poverty comes in many forms, though, let us remember.

      For the non-Christian, leftist, hippy types, how about where Castaneda’s Brujo, Don Juan, chastises Carlos (in a very Hindu way, it seems to me) for feeling bad for the street urchins they encounter in Mexico City. The aged Sorcerer tells Carlitos that to take away the children’s poverty would also be taking away their chance to escape it.

      (For the record, I‘ll take Jesus’ method over Castaneda’s way. There are plenty of hospitals, missions and schools with “Saint” before the name. None of those things that I know of have been started by Castanedans or Socialists. Well, maybe schools but they are more likely to take over one started by someone else and run it with gov’t funds than to start their own and fund it themselves.)

      Speaking of types of poverty: Another interesting thing about Wallis and Sojourners is that I’ve been getting emails regularly from them for probably over a year now and there is never the slightest mention of Jesus, the supposed center of their religion. One would thing that a (nominally) Christian organisation would mention Christ more often. When they do, their interpretation is so far afield of anything rational that is defies description.

      The Christian Grand Commission is to bring the Good News of Christ to all. It is a clear sign that something is wrong in a church or organisation when they become more interested in politics or “issues” than in spreading that message.

      Sojourners talks more about Glenn Beck and politics than they do about Jesus. What does that tell you about Sojourners?

As to his alleged “spiritual advisor”, anyone who believes is “social justice”, whatever that means as well as “liberation theology”, is not in the position to advise anyone spiritually unless it’s FIde Castro, Hugo Chavez, or the late great Mao and Joseph Stalin. If he DID Not believe in those things, he would not be anywhere Obama.

E.g., “Thou shalt not steal”, “thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, thy neighbor’s house, nor anything that is thy neighbor’s.“ ”neither shall you show favoritism to the poor in his trial”…but “neither shall you deprive your poor of the justice due to him”.

      The term “Black man” is loaded, so I would say that it very much depends on what he means by the term.

      If by “Black man”, he means someone in office who believes that the “colored man” is being oppressed by the “non-coloreds”, then I would say this is true, but only in the sense that more likely than not it would be a “Black man” who held this view, which view is false on it’s face, even when you consider that America had White men who were oppressing Black men.

      You say, “So if America did have White men who did oppress Black men, why then would you say the above view is false on its face?” It‘s because the color of someone’s skin doesn‘t determine someone’s character, so it’s not even logically possible for the cause of any oppression of Black people to be the category “White people”.

      But if Wallis means, by “Black man”, a man with dark skin, then he is wrong. The Tea Party has nothing against the color of anyone’s skin – that’s not the issue. The issue, like was said above, is this race-based view held by those who consider themselves as part of some “Black community” (as if color was a basis for unity), that from birth they are oppressed, and that from birth White people are the oppressors, and so their culture is defined by not only racism, but also a sense that they are owed something and they need to take it back.

      This is why the so called “Black community” does so poorly economically – it has nothing to do with the color of their skin, but rather it has to do with their own race-based culture of victimhood which affects how they approach business – and no one wants to hire someone with an overinflated sense that they are owed something.

      The so called “Black community” is still being lied to by the proponents of Liberation Theology, such as Jim Wallis, Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama, the former Weather Underground members, SDS, etc.

      The basic response to these guys is that we all probably have ancestors who have been treated badly. But unless we ourselves were treated badly, it doesn’t concern us. We are our own persons.

Number 1. will give you money beyond you dreams, fame, control and power over the people, start a ——new religion.”

      Somewhere it seems to be forgotten that at a point in time during the campaign a new source reported that the black community thought Oblame-a was perhaps too white…. Nobody called them racists!

      Perhaps it also needs to be brought to Mr. wallis’s attention that part of Oblame-a people don’t like has nothing to do with color but his ideology, and if I recall, that isn’t associated with being black; but red….as in marxist, socialist, and communist.
      Why does this religious fraud continue to parade as a agent of light when his words are as dark and deceptive as evil itself?

      I think a necessary element of religion, is a sole, I’m not seeing one here. Plotting and planning the destruction of millions of peoples lives for personal gain requires “no sole”, it’s the only way a human could survive such a crime against humanity. There have been many others before around the world who fit the model and history records many unspeakable things as a result. The kinds of things that are not taught in schools anymore for a reason. That reason, someone wants to do it all over again and they don‘t want you to know what’s coming. Well, I‘m old enough to know and I’m teaching it to everyone I can, I hope you will do the same. Young people have no clue what’s happening here, they are buying this crap hook line and sinker. As for the small minds that should know, some will be a lost cause, that the way it works.

      Wallis is just another of many who seeks to make us all believe that he (OBAMA) has the same beliefs and interest of the average American. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Time will tell the truth for all to see his as he really is…………… we know here but the proof will be made public for all to see before long.
      It is not that he is black, color does not make the man, (WHAT IS IN HIS A MAN’S HEART IS WHAT MAKES A REAL MAN WORTHLY). His beliefs is what sets him apart from us who really know and see him as he is and not as the liberal media and his handlers would have us to believe. I personally have not problem with color but I do have a major problem with a leader who does not lead and who does not have his people (all Americans) interest at heart.       Something of interest in the bible I have been looking into. Look up the son of perdition found in the King James version in 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2. Compare the story to what we know of the life and doings of George Soros, and all that has been revealed about him and his actions by Beck.

      Remember especially the part where Soros declared himself as a kind of Messiah, which in my own studies and mind makes me believe he is following the footsteps of the son of perdition, or indeed is the man revealed unto the world for his true colors.

      If he is, then the nation of ours will indeed be saved, yet there shall be a price to be paid in the accounting. May God grant His grace and mercy unto all of us.

      Obama’s presidency per se is not the real issue. This is about the difference between a constitutional republic (freedom)and a socialist democracy (power/control of by and for the elite ruling class).
      Since Teddy Roosevelt the progessives have made power grab after power grab (see health care law, financial reform and now food safety act).
      When the American public goes “hey hey just a damn minute!!!!” the progressives slink back to their caves and wait for the American public to go back to sleep and they pop their heads out again and take another stab at grabbing more power and control. The progressive “elite” actually believe that they know what is best for the American people because we’re just to stupid to understand government and all. It’s just to hard and complicated you know.
      The country and leadership we want respects the Constitutional Republic not the Progressive nightmare that has been forced down our throats by Obama and the progressives before him. The point that he has been democratically elected is moot. He promised and has not delivered. His post-racial administration has hurt race relations in this country by constantly playing the “race” card which is a narcissistic ploy of “it’s not my fault”. His post-partisanship that was promised is non-existent. We are more divided today than ever before in my lifetime. The hope and change promised has not materialized. In fact there is less hope and the change that has been implemented (see power grab) is exactly what has caused the uprising of the American people as evidenced in the November elections.
      The American people have been awakened from their slumber. The have been shaken out of their complacency. They are pissed. They are informed. They are educated. The chances that the progressives will get another opportunity are slim and none. There is a whole new generation of conservatives that have figured out that the “elites” are all full of crap and the progressive movement will be comatose for at least 50 years. By then each successive generation will know what real freedom is and will not stand for usurpation by any group or individual.

      Maybe you should talk to the children, especially male children, of divorced parents. Most place the missing parent (if that’s the case) on a pedestal. They can ignore faults, mistakes and sometimes, even abuse.
      Just saying…I don’t think your theory holds water.

If they love communism so much, why don’t they immigrate to China, North Korea, Vietnam or Cuba ? I’m sure they could openly express their views and ideas of better government and speak out against the powers that be in those model countries as freely as they do in the evil USA.

I have never seen such love affair with a politician. This Wallace guy is not preaching anything but politics. His religion is the same as Marx.

      When are they going to learn. It’s pretty hard to smear the tea party with race, religion, fanaticism, etc. when they are a group of people from all walks of life and their only consistant position is return the U.S. to a constitutional republic with the common sense idea of fiscal responsibility and personal worth and freedom.

      Grandmaof5 had it right – the color of the president is irrelevant, i’s just that his policies are scary.

      The more the libs speak, the more their real hatred of American exceptionalism is shown. I’m in favor of letting them say whatever they want, just not so much response and publicity of it. Way too much publicity of their nonsense.

      In any case, I ask again, how in the hell did we elect an America hater and obvious socialist to the highest office in the land?

      I think the question that needs to be asked here is what would Jesus do? Certainly not spread hatred for Obama, claiming his political ideology reflects non-christian actions. Come on people, stop using politics as an excuse to spread hatred! Do everything in love! If you truly think people are in trouble or being harmed by the current administration, get out there and help them and be humble while doing it! Worshiping Glenn Beck and his beliefs won’t get you any closer to heaven, please replace one of his books with the Bible and follow the words in the latter rather than the former. I’m not even close to perfect either, but if even one of you takes this to heart and realize that what is happening here is not what God wants then I would be infinitely pleased. Love ya guys~

      Almost every day the news media releases a new story from a new source that claims the tea party is a racist organization. This campaign started about a month ago and has been in full swing in every sense. Even though the claim that the tea parties are a racist organization has been thoroughly discredited the “preponderance of propaganda” continues to pound this theme home.

      Why do the wannabe tyrants continue to publicize a thoroughly disproven lie?
      • The wannabe tyrants want to discredit the tea party organization.
      • Since many people agree with the objectives of the tea party. They cannot, effectively, attack these objectives.
      • According to the rules of propaganda, when you can’t attack the message discredit the message by attacking the messenger.
      • To understand the wannabe tyrants reasoning, consider the following quote from Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s propaganda minister.

      Thank you, thank you, thank you… I have been trying to explain to people that we are dealing with Marxism for quite sometime, but many still want to be polite and call it Socialism, or they just don’t know the truth. Everything about BLT is about Marxism, and its exactly what James Cone has been pushing for years at the University levels. To the black community a more evil plan could not have been hatched than what BLT has laid on innocent people. Trinity and Rev. Wright are perfect examples of this. Most people don’t even know that the very first act by Rev. Wright when he took over Trinity was to kick out all white members. Obama joined this church shortly after this and his claim to not being a racist is a huge lie. BUT NOT ONE PEEP FROM OUR MEDIA. If people would simply take a little time to research some of this stuff they would come away shocked! I pray that the people start doing this sooner than later.

      Who is this guy trying to fool? The left I presume, because the right isn’t fooled at all. In one of Obama’s books he tells of being raised as a muslim in a madrassa in Indonesia. I believe that one of his books also states that if the political winds should shift in an ugly direction, he would stand with the muslims. I do believe when you look at his presidency, how he stands with the muslims, and his staff and even his appointees to the Supreme Court, he has chosen pro sharia law persons. I never knew what a muslim was until 9/11 and with this presidency, that’s alll I hear. Prosecute “our military,“call our returning military men ”terrorrists”, don’t call Islamic terrorrists “terrorists” Try them here. If they say they have been tortured…we can’t accept their admissions. Place them in prisons to recruit others. I understand that in Russia, when Communism took over, even Protestant preachers were stabbing members of their own congregations in the back. THis is all about a Islamic/Socialist/Communist agenda. It has nothing to do with his color. That is merely a “Rules For Radicals” (a book written by Saul Alinsky and embaed by Obama and Hilary) to throw everyone off.

      BO ran for President, and won the election–so don’t whine if you WON
      BO is a SOCIALIST, it is very easy yo prove that with his comments about “Spreading it around”
      BO has selective memory as he didnt recall what J. Wright preached from the pulpit for 20YEARS–that is a lot of memory to supress.
      BO focused on socializing national health care instead of helping the economy in his first year in office–proof of inexperience and poor judgement.
      BO has lost the independent middle of american and they are not likely to come back.
      BO has backed the unions over business people–something business people will not forget.
      BO has spun the numbers on GM and BO prefers not to talk about Chrysler–the truth will make people sick and will poison GM and Crysler in the future.

      Bottom line is elections have consequences–BO won and has made mistakes while President.
      When Jimmy Carter (and brother Billy) insulted the American people, we decided one term was TOO LONG and showed JC the door.
