17 Pro-Union Protesters Arrested After Shoving Wash. State Troopers, Rushing Gov. Office

Seventeen pro-union protesters were arrested outside the Washington state capitol yesterday after they blocked the governor’s door and got physical with state troopers .

The protesters were part of a group angry over proposed budget cuts. The altercation began when the protesters blocked the governor’s office and chanted “We want to see her!” When troopers ordered the crowd to disperse some didn’t, instead locking arms and holding fast:

KOMO-TV reports:

Sixteen of the protesters were cited for disorderly conduct and released. The seventeenth protester was taken into custody and booked into jail on suspicion of assaulting two troopers.

Before the arrests, hundreds of people were already on the scene Thursday morning. Many of them spent the night on the hard marble floor of the main legislative building.

The Washington State Labor Council said the protests would focus on proposed cuts to state-funded health services, and demonstrators urged lawmakers to close tax loopholes rather than making cuts in the budget.

Members of the Service Employees International Union, which represents caregivers for clients with special needs, claimed there are some 567 tax loopholes in Washington state that could be closed to prevent drastic budget cuts.

As the legislative day began Thursday, state troopers dragged about a dozen protesters from the House gallery after they started reading aloud what they called “personal histories” of disabled clients affected by budget cuts. There were no arrests in that incident.

Meanwhile, another large protest group numbering in the hundreds massed at a downtown Olympia park and marched to a Chase Bank branch.

The demonstrators claimed that Chase Bank is receiving millions of dollars in tax breaks from the state that it inherited after taking over Washington Mutual. Protesters called for the elimination of the tax breaks.

Later, a group of protesters gathered in the Rotunda and ended up marching toward the governor’s office, where the shoving match and arrests took place.

“This is our house, and I’m not backing down, not one bit,” shouted one demonstrator. “My house, our house, everybody’s house. And this is how we get treated. No more.”

About 50 protesters spent the night in sleeping bags on a hard marble floor of the state Capitol in Olympia.

This is similar to U.K. Uncut protesting rich corporations in the U.K. avoiding paying taxes. There really is a class war coming to America. And then it will move from class to race and then to religion and then to outright genocide. First it’s economic and then it turns cultural and then it becomes a matter of self preservation. Hope you guys have enough guns, food, and ammo to withstand a decade long bloodbath.

If they worked for me and didn’t show up for work because the were somewhere screaming at cops, I‘d have to say I’d put them in the “unemployed” category. Unless, of course, I was a union boss and sent them to do exactly that. In that case, I’d put them in the “flunkies-willing-to-risk-jail-while-I-stay-home-and-watch-it-on-tv” category.

Mostly women…all liberals. Here’s an idea!:

How’s about you stop depending on the government to take care of mom and dad and instead band your family together and take care of them yourself? Afterall, they brought you into this world, raised you to be a good person (instead, your a liberal – what a letdown that must be to them), and you’ve since abandoned them to the whims of the government.

Interesting way to show your love huh? “hey, mom and dad. I love you but your not my problem – your the governments (the peoples) problem. But let me show you how much I love you by going down to the state capitol and protesting against those cuts for ya.”

    from the article:
“Members of the Service Employees International Union, which represents caregivers for clients with special needs,…”

    **********
the new SCAM – under the radar – for SEIU – to have people on the dole – under the guise of “Caregivers”.

Also – Union-owned home healthcare businesses are responsible for the FRAUD and Waste in Medicare and Medicaid funding – defrauding the federal government out of money.

There was a case in Louisiana – in which a straw person – owner – was raking in $4 MILLION for her home healthcare business – having union member employees – falsify records of medical services provided to non-existent people.

Only the “owner” was prosecuted – not any of the SEIU union members who assisted in the FRAUD.

Sooo we have video footage and recordings of SEIU folks like Lerner or those associated/working with the unions calling for an uprising, violence and physical resistance. Now we have an actual act of that “call to action”!

Is this proof enough of what myself, Beck and countless others have been calling, really demanding an investigation even charges being brought against those calling for an uprising?! This wont be an isolated event, these ppl see whats happening around the world and see their “brothers in arms” in some cases making ground by physical resistance. How long until real violence breaks out in the US? How long will it be until an office or building is set a blaze by protestors?

This is the work of Lerner, Pivens, Jones, Trumka etc etc I dont care what the leftist zombie trolls say I have seen and heard enough to know if anything gets started those ppl and other like them still in the shadows are the ones instigating it.

To the zombies and trolls I ask this. You will act out and speak against ppl like those here on The Blaze, Beck etc and thats fine its your right.. BUT will you call upon those calling for violence to step up to the plate and TAKE PART in the uprising they are calling for? Pivens, Jones lerner Trumka they all encourage an uprising I want to know will they too be taking part in event like this one in Washington? Or will all of you zombies troll drones be THEIR Cannon Fodder?

These SEIU members who were arrested dont even realize they are being used. I want to know whomever organized this event in Washington were they present? Was he or she one of the 17 arrested?!

This is only the beginning folks expect more events like this, May is just around the corner for all we know this is a test run from what Lerner was calling for!

Wonder how many of them were “imports”? Skyhigh fines, jail time and court costs would, hopefully, slow this down. If they were imports, double the fines and jail time for interference. Would love to know if this is the same group of people being shuttled from one state to another, who is paying them and if they are paying their fair share of distributing the wealth.

Their are bigger fish to fry in other areas. The unions see the writing on the wall. The gravey train has derailed. WS may slide into the ocean and that takes care of that problem. The sleeping masses have awakened and the majority have no use for union thuggery or left wing violence.

Those protesters can get away with anything they want at the capiital because it is being held hostage by insurgent Republicans. But they better be careful at the JP Morgan Chase branch. The bank IS a branch of the actual government and it will come down mercilessly on them.

      PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD:

The name is meant to be read more like this …..“really….. a union guy”…. trying to do the right thing, ….. you don’t say….
      Hello BLAZERS,
I am NOT asking you to support my union, this is not a discussion of volunteer versus paid fire departments. I am NOT asking you for money.
There are some regulars in this forum who have already checked it out and think would vouch for that.
This is just another tactic in a long battle between my union leadership and I.
I know this, there are a lot more people like me out there, and we can fight for what is right for our country from the inside, but only if our voices are loud enough, only if our bully pulpit is big enough, the world wide web is the answer for us, but we need your support.
I know there are a lot of union members out there who do not agree with what their leadership is doing. I also know that they are intimidated, and do not want to risk their future employment, and their families security to join the fray. Not everyone can stand in the breach. I have found a way to stand up with out risking my employment, but I have destroyed all chances at future promotions. That’s OK, but with your support we can make our voices louder, we can make it okay for others to stand up. We can break through the intimidation, and the all the noise.
A blog with 7 followers (thanks guys) will not accomplish this, but a blog with thousands will.
I am not in this for money and there is no money making scheme here. Everything we need to do is free.
Please help us out by SIGNING UP to “follow” our blog at http://www.firefightersforfreedom.blogspot.com
And you can check out the video at http://www.firefightersforfreedom.com (little of 6 minutes) to hear more about it.
This is how the left gets organized, we need to adopt some of their tactics for ourselves.
      Thanks for your support!

      PS
Before you type me a reply about how screwed up unions are, check out the blog and web site you will see, we are on the same page.

this is insanity.. I just found out I have a friend who has a handicapped child.. the child has been on SSI for their entire life.. at 18 the child now gets his SSI check in his name.. the mother gets paid a good buck to TAKE CARE OF HER OWN SON.. and the son still gets the SSI check.. they make MORE than someone who WORKS.. and just recently they UNIONIZED all CAREGIVERS giving them healthcare etc.. Now I feel bad for this person.. taking care of a totally handicapped child is NOT easy.. when the child needs care 24/7.. and as both the mother and child gets older it become harder for the caregiver to do some things for the child.. HOWEVER.. the GOVERNMENT has these people CONVINCED that they deserve this money.. they tell them IF they dumped the child off on the state it would cost the state MORE to take care of him.. I am offended that they feel we MUST take care of their child.. it’s NOT a choice nor do we get to choose who we give our tax dollars to to help them..It’s the same thing with people who have kids and drop them off with the state and the grandparent get mega bucks to raise the kids while the mom goes out to get pregnant again.. I have heard about he circle of life .. however it has turned to the circle of FREE LOADERS.. the MORE THINGS the government makes disabilities the LESS people do and the more they get handouts.. this is more than stupid…
