19-year-old Katya Koren is an attractive, young Muslim girl from Ukraine:

19 Year Old Muslim Girl Allegedly Stoned to Death for Strutting in Beauty Contest

Recently, she decided to participate in a local beauty contest. She placed seventh. But her passion for fashion may have led to her death. Shortly after the pageant, Koren went missing. Now, a young man has apparently admitted to police that he killed Koren under Shariah Law.

The Daily Mail reports she was stoned to death:

Her battered body was buried in a forest and was found a week after she disappeared.

Police have opened a murder investigation and are looking into claims that three Muslim youths killed her, claiming her death was justified under Islam.

One of the three – named as 16-year-old Bihal Gaziev – is under arrest and told police that Katya had ‘violated the laws of Sharia’. Gaziev has said he has no regrets about her death.

      Having quit the PC world, I could care less what other people do in their religion. If Muslims want to take out their own, so be it. Sort of what I feel about Democrats and abortions.

      It is so interesting to me how so many self-proclaimed, good Christians come on blogs and articles to vent their anger toward the innocent. Why do you feel that it is your prerogative to judge Muslim woman and marvel that they all don’t escape their families, their culture, their life, and pursue something that you in your ethnocentric mind feel is better for them. And why do you insist fighting hatred with hatred? How do you think Christ felt about those who nailed him to the cross? Shouldn’t he have spit back, fumed in anger, or struck them down with the word of His mouth? Granted we’re not the Son of God, and we’re all mortals with a myriad of imperfections, but the point I’m trying to make is that you have so little love for those who are not like you. You think I am somehow misguided because I wonder at why muslim women, as oppressed as they are, stay in that evil religion. Why?       As much as I agree that the Muslim faith as practiced by many today is an abomination of its religion, I am equally concerned by many in the fundamentalist Christian world. Their view of the world has been getting more and more narrow as the Bible as they know it is redefined and re-interpreted, and the tolerance of these people decreases. This American brand of Christianity seems to work to be exclusive of people rather than inclusive and, if this trend continues, America or parts of it at least could look alot like the middle east in its treatment of people who are deemed outside the faith in a few hundred years.

      I couldn’t agree more. When I think of the great truths that Jesus taught when he was on the earth about love and compassion, and then I look at the narrow-minded Christianity that people put forth, I shake my head in wonder. These people say, “Christ said no man cometh unto the Father but by me,” and then they go on to argue that it must mean that everyone is damned except those who got lucky enough to be placed in an environment where they were reasonably situated to accept Christ.

      We all are well aware of the inadequacies and injustices of modern Islam. I grew up in the Middle East and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. Would one suppose that a person born into a Muslim family has an equal opportunity to accept Christ as does the person born into a Christian family? The person certainly does not. They will eventually have to do so in order to qualify for the saving ability of Christ, but all these things will be taken into account come Judgment. Those who do not have ample chance while on earth to come to know Christ (and there are far more who have not than have) will have that wonderful opportunity presented after their passing. This is one of the great Biblical truths that was smothered by the Roman Church after its collusion with the government in order to maintain superiority and to serve its dominating purposes, and many in modern Christianity insist upon maintaining that incorrect course.

      Saranda, there is a big difference between mormon women and muslim women. Muslim women literally cannot escape. For mormon women, its difficult, but obviously not impossible. Mormon women have been leaving the church in droves. And men. The mormon church reports people who sign up as members, not who actually attends. Only 30% of those who signed up originally have stuck around. Why? The more you read, the more you know. The internet is the key. Young people are really the ones heading out the door because they go to the internet for all information. No sacred secrets are being kept anymore, and the truth leads folks out the door. But I agree it is difficult.

The article says she was muslim. But you know, good people go to a devils hell everyday. We need Jesus to cleanse us from ALL sin. He just cannot do that is we do not come to Him.       You cannot accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour when you are dead. At the last moment of life? Yes. But God has given us free will. She knew of Jesus. She had a choice to accept or reject. If she did not accept Him, then in fact, she rejected Him. It. my friend, is too late for her. Yes, His Grace abounds more than sin, but when you are dead, that’s it. Man cannot live like hell, and then expect the Grace of God to let him into heaven when he has spent his whole life not accepting what Jesus did on the Cross. Do not buy into the false doctrine that all men go to heaven. Jesus said you must be Born Again. She was not. It is indeed a tragedy, but she made her bed, now she is lying in it. Those who say that someone who was born and raised in a 3rd World country, was not given adequate opportunity to understand the blessings of a Christ-centered life, and then killed young, would go to eternal torment is in the gall of bitterness and the bonds of iniquity. This person neither understands the Gospel of Jesus Christ nor the infinite love of a Father in Heaven. If they have read the scriptures, then they do not understand them, and they are led about by the false and wicked traditions of a corrupt teacher. Will every tongue confess that Jesus is the Christ? Yes. Is He the only way to salvation? Yes. But we are all born in different situations, and to say that God loves the man born a Christian in Texas more than the woman born a Muslim in Ukraine is foolishness. After Christ’s death, he visited the deceased in spirit prison and began the process to enable all those who had not been given adequate opportunity to learn and believe in Christ, to then do so. A man (or woman) cannot be damned in ignorance any more than one can be saved in ignorance.

      one more thing. When Jesus visited Paradise after his Crucification, He did so to the Saints of Christ. He set them free and took them to heaven. He did not teach them about Himself for they knew Him. He went to Paradise, where there was a huge gulf fixed between Paradise and Hell. The same place the rich man asked Abraham to have Lazares put the tip of his finger in water because he was in terrible torment in these flames. Your doctrine is not Scriptural.

      This is the whole point of the “thou shalt not judge” bit. We cannot determine where souls go after they die. We can judge actions as wrong, but we cannot say where anyone goes after death. We don’t know what she knew. Sure, as a muslim, she would be following islam, and would have rejected Christ, but did she really understand and KNOW the truth she rejected? Or rather, did she reject what she misunderstood to be Christ. We CANNOT believe that whole scores of people on this planet who live good, decent lives are automatically doomed because they either never learn about Christ, or reject some notion they have heard about it, or are unwilling to change from what they and all their ancestors have always been, when there’s little if anything to convince them of the truth. We cannot know this, and therefore, we cannot judge.

      TWIGCC, I am sorry friend. But that is the case. You see, it is mans idea to say that all people go to heaven. Man says that good decent people don’t go to hell. But that is not scriptual. If you reject jesus, if you reject what He did on the Cross, you are doomed by your own choice. We can say where people go after death. If they know not Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they go to hell. There is no other place. They have rejected Jesus in life, they don’t have another chance in death. The whole “thou shalt not judge bit” as you put it does not fit here. We are not condemning anyone, or judging them. It is Jesus who judges. We are just saying, that if any person who does not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour has doomed themselves. It does not matter if a person is a good person or not. It is not about that. It is about Jesus and what He did on the Cross, and receiving the Free Gift. If we reject Him, we reject that gift. There are no second chances after death no matter how good of a person you are. It is NOT scriptural to think that all people go to heaven. They do not. The Bible says, Whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. No where in the Bible does it say all good people go to heaven. Stop fooling yourself. That‘s man’s idea, not God’s. Although He would want everyone to go to heaven, that’s way He gave us Jesus, so everyone could. Too many reject Him and are lost.

And what of all the millions, nay billions for sure of people who have lived since who had no access to information about Christianity due to geography. And what of those who are not exposed to the evangelical usage of the phrase “born again” which has only been around since the 1960′s…are all evangelicals who died before this phrase was commonly understood doomed to hell?

      Saranda, First, ever since there has been man upon the earth, God has been involved in their lives. God has revealed Himself in nature and in the hearts of people. Rom 1, Eccles.3:11, It is not that some people have not heard of God, for He is in nature, but people have rejected God. We are a sinful people. The Bible tells us that all who seek God will find Him. Trouble is, people don’t want to seek Him. They want someone to tell them that their lifestyle is okay cause God is love, people want someone to tell them what to believe instead of looking in the Word of God themselves. Romans 3:11 says that no one understands, no one seeks God. It is foolish to debate the fairness of God sending someone to hell. We choose that route ourselves. People are responsible to God themselves. Listen, man will never understand why our Father would condemn people to hell. But His Word is clear. Just because we don’t want to thinbk it or believe the Word, soesn’t make it so. Man condems himself to hell by his acceptance of Jesus Christ. You don’t have to believe. That’s your choice. But because you and others want to think that people will go to heaven doesn’t hold up to the Word of God. His Word. And lastly, the term Born Again has been around since John wrote his Gospel. John 3:3 “Except a man be Born Again”. This speaks of Spiritual Birth,“he cannot see the Kingdom of God”. Now thats Bible.       You‘re misunderstanding the point and creating a concern that hasn’t been advocated. You think that I (and presumably others on here) suppose that all people will eventually go to heaven. This certainly isn’t the case. We‘re making the point that you don’t know the resting place of this girl’s eternal soul, like you so boldly claim to be in the know about.

      Additionally, you claim that my ideas aren’t scriptural. You say that Christ only preached to “saints” in paradise. That isn’t scriptural. “By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah” (1 Peter 3:19-20). The scriptures never say he only went to saints, but it does say that he taught “spirits” who were once “disobedient”. And by the way, the term “saints” in the Bible has never been used to refer to anything like near-sinless individuals of wonderful reputation. The word is consistent with followers of Christ and His Gospel, imperfect as we all are. It has since evolved a different connotation and meaning.

      The bottom line here is that you, thankfully, are not the judge of the souls of mankind, and for you to presume to know the outcome of a person’s existence is preposterous and approaching blasphemy.

      Yes Ghostrider, the term born again is in the Bible, that is not my comment. It is only since the 1960′s that it came into common usage among US churches. As for God revealling himself through nature in pre Biblical times, according to your own posts that is not good enough as they must be born again, but they had no understanding of God as you and I might know God. Perhaps your definition of born again is not as narrow as I have perceived it to be. I do not expect a “born again” experience to be an entrance requirement to heaven. My expectation is that someone living in the jungles of Peru living a “christian” life is as acceptable to God as someone living in Alabama who has made a point of proclaiming their born again status. I have an aunt who is a Catholic nun and she was said in my youth that there were many paths to the same truth. I take that to mean all are welcome. My God reflects that comment and is not tied to one groups understanding.

      Letusreason You quote 1Peter3:19-20 in favour of your argument that all persons go to spirit prison and get another chance. At least that what it sounds like to me. But you mistake what that scripture is saying. It uses the phrase “spirits”. When the Bible says spirits, it is not talking about people, but this scripture you quoted is talking about non humans, in other words, fallen angels, humans are never talked about in the Bible in this manner. This is where Jesus preached to them. Could that girl have called o Jesus and been saved at the last second, yes. Would she have been saved, yes. Nowhere in the Bible, does it say, that unsaved persons who die can get another chance at eternal life with Jesus. Unless I missed it, please point it out. But, you say I judged her, you talked ugly about me as a Christian for saying what I did. Where is your love, why do you judge me?

      I am against sex change operations but I’m beginning to think that maybe they should take these weirdo perverts that do something like this and give them a sex change operation and make them “females”. Then let them live under sharia law. After all these other sharia perverts get together and rape “him/her“ and then kill ”him/her” for being sexually active. The other sharia perverts can kill the perverts that did it for technically having sex with a man. I figure that sharia would not recognize a man that was changed into a female by operation is truly a woman so they would have to do sharia on the guys. With the killer of doctors, unable to understand that their twisted morality is that not law, comb through the bible for outdated quotes to justifiy the murder of a doctor who is providing a legal service to women. They are acting as judge, jury and executioner, with the bible and justification.       They aren’t the same as not all anti-abortion activist are religious see you don’t need a religion to be against killing unborn children as a form of birth control. And you don‘t need to be religious to see that PP was just a babystep toward Margret Sangers dreams of eugenic that couldn’t get further politically at this time. You know the same eugenic philosphy that Hitler had running full speed in the 3rd Riech. Religion is usually helpful being against baby murder as most religion promote morals but it not necessarily a prerequisite in determining one’s views.
      And more over those who kill abortion doctors because of their religious views on child murder do so by breaking their religion (thou shall not kill)and not by following their religion as these evil little islamist ikeman said they were doing.

Where is the outrage at the perverision of the bible, or do you agree with the murders? Do you agree with them that the Constitution and the other legal doctrines that have been established since the time of the founders is meaningless “man made law” and tha tthe only law that matters is your interpetation of the biblical law, and how is that different from the taleban?
