2 Libyan Colonels Flee Country in Fighter Jets, After Reports They Were Told to Fire on Protesters

VALLETTA, Malta (The Blaze/AP) — Two Libyan air force jets have arrived in Malta and military officials say their pilots have asked for political asylum amid a bloody crackdown on anti-government protesters in Libya.
The Times of Malta claims to have video of the jets, and says the pilots escaped Libya after being ordered to fire on protesters:
The two Mirage jets arrived Monday shortly after two civilian helicopters landed at the airport carrying seven people who said they were French.
A military source familiar with the situation said the jet pilots, Libyan air force colonels, were allowed to land after they communicated from the air that they wanted asylum. They had left from a base near Tripoli and had flown low over Libyan airspace to avoid detection.
The aircraft remain at Malta’s airport while the pilots and helicopter passengers are being questioned by airport immigration officials.
The news comes as Al Jazeera is reporting that some military jets have actually fired on the protesters. That report has not been independently verified, however.

You prove my point exactly. Just because some twits calls for a caliphate in a blog or on a web site doesnt make it reprsentative.
From your logic, if you are a Christian, you must be in the same camp as Pastor Jones who wants burn Korans. Or in the same camp as the KKK who want to kill Jews and blacks to cleanse society. Maybe you’re a Nazi too from that logic.
So. Every society has its extremists — but they are NOT representative. Thats the point. And no amount of Beck TV scare-stories about a possible impeding caliphate in DC, Berlin, London, Cairo, Tunis, Miami will change that.
You may hate Muslims, but they exist. Live with it.

Caliphate is the political structure of Sharia, ToolAid…Sunnis use elected Reps, Shia use bloodlines….Sometimes you can have two Caliphates due to Sect split…..but BOTH in all facets of Islam call for a Caliphate Toolaid…..Not just radicals….The established Muslims just call the Violent Muslims extremists even though financing them so the world will accept them but they all call for a Caliphate….. (how embarrassing for you)…..
The Caliph dictates Sharia, like in Saudi Arabia currently (Sunni) and like in Iran (Shia)…….Both practice Sharia currently Both have Caliphates and they are expanding to Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Tunisia, etc…..Then Shia vs Sunni over total Caliphate like last seen with Ottoman Empire….. (Don’t you feel dumb?)
I have Zero hate for anyone and if one wishes to worship Allah, that’s between him and God…
Your logic isn’t logic as the KKK teaches hate, opposite of Christianity. It wasn’t Christians trying to kill blacks, Christians saved blacks, it was Progressives trying to cleanse the Earth of blacks…Get your facts strait, ToolAid. Islam actually teaches violence as means to a global Caliphate, had you read you would know this.

You got that right!!! Here in Texas we have been over run now and are nearly ready to become the Northern Most State of Mexico. California may beat us to it, but they may well go broke first and get bought out by China. I hadn’t really thought in terms of Mexicans Vs Muslims, but the ****** Pigs won’t stand a chance in that fight. Just the thought of “Sharia Law” running smack dab into the reality of “Mexican Culture” is a truly sobering concept. The two cultures are almost diametrically opposed on every point, booze, drugs, adultry, homosexuality, stealing, with the notable exception that they both like to beat their women on a regular basis. And yet they are both exactly the same when it comes to killing other human beings, no hesistation whatsoever, for the slightest of provocations, or no reason at all, just for Sport. These two groups will have just PLENTY to fight over!!

To (easily) summarise your “facts,” as if they were ever new: all Muslims pray every day to establish a caliphate that orders the beheading of people, bans alcohol, and implements any other medieval societal tool they can. Caliphate for you is simply a synonym for Islamic extremism.
Of course there is vast evidence for this insight into the mind of every Muslim worldwide: Beck TV.
My point: why isnt this caliphate issue on the radar of any serious scholar? Why is Beck the ONLY person in the world to discover this threat to western civilization? Because its a scare-tactic, designed to prop up his fast-dropping ratings. And you fell for it.
