ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis police say two federal marshals and a police officer have been shot during a gunfight that left another man wounded at a home.
[Note: the video below reports three marshals shot, but that report has been updated]
Saint Louis University Hospital spokeswoman Laura Keller confirms the two marshals are in the hospital’s emergency room. She isn’t releasing details about their conditions.
St. Louis Police say their officer was hit in his bullet-proof vest and suffered a graze wound and injuries from a fall. He was taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Details about the other wounded man‘s condition aren’t immediately available.
Television video footage from KTVI in St. Louis showed one marshal being carried down an alley by several officers and being put into an ambulance.
Police aren’t immediately releasing further details about the shooting.

Just in case anyone cares, the perp had a rap sheet a mile long and was being served with an arrest warrant. I was watching our local NBC station and they had live video of a group of about 8 black women chasing each other around, with a couple of them trying to fight each other, a couple trying to get in between them, and the rest doing one or the other, maybe, but it was too much of a circus. There’s a sister and girlfriend of the shooter involved, and who knows who the rest were.
If interested, the local network stations websites are ksdk.com, kmov.com, fox2now.com and the left wing rag, I mean main newspaper, is stltoday.com.

Posted on March 8, 2011 at 10:42amI don’t know if my reply is going to post or not but the above post from BEWARE OF ROMANS has not one grain of truth. Look up every company he/she mentions and see for yourself. I can’t even imagine how someone could even dream this stuff up.
I’m in St. Louis. The incident occurred in a city neighborhood that you don’t want to visit, involving a guy with an impressive rap sheet who has been shot and reports are coming out that he’s dead. One of the marshals is in critical condition, one fair, and the city police officer is probably home by now.
The City of St. Louis has no different problems than any other major urban area that has has nothing but Democrat government since at least the 1950s. Downtown, thanks to the businesses, and the Cardinals and Rams and, to a lesser extent, the Blues, is vibrant. The neighborhoods you’d be willing to live in are shrinking or going away altogether. The worse it gets, the stronger the Democrat base becomes. Go figure. Now St. Louis County, which is where most of the 3 million people in the “greater St. Louis area” live, is a terrific place to live and raise a family, witness the number of professional athletes who make it home, even after they retire or move on to other teams. The major challenge is a County Executive who is a Democrat and seems to think it would be a good idea to merge with the City, which would be like adopting as many deadbeat debt-ridden distant cousins as you can find, along with all their friends.

Wells Fargo goes back to stage coach days, of course, and their first bank location was in San Francisco.
Wachovia has no special historical connection to St. Louis aside from the post-acquisition (by Wells Fargo) renaming to Wells Fargo Advisors.
Brown Shoe’s history dates back to the 1870s. There is no Nazi connection. You’re just making this crap up.
Masters and Johnson? Really? The sex researchers? No pharmaceutical connection, no Nazi connection, once again you just make stuff up.

Remember at first, during the Times Square bomber, when they first thought he was white. Bloomberg even opined that he was connected to the “Tea Party”. So this one must be black or muslim. No couldnt be Muslim or they would never even be serving a warrant.

Posted on March 8, 2011 at 10:12amI’ve been wondering personally if these incidents are tied to the attempted forced internment in FEMA camps.
You see people getting in high speed chases and shooting it out with cops and sheriffs and FBI and everything. I wonder if they are attempting to round up “dissidents” quietly?
It’s just curious that incidents like this keep happening. They’ll tell you that these people are attempting to avoid being rought to justice.
There is no justice in this country right now. The Justice Department is corrupt. The entire country is corrupt from the top (President Obama) right on down to local cities and counties. Our rights are being violated. The powers that be are arbitrarily assuming new and profound powers that supercede our counstitution.
They are building a panopticon prison around us.

Posted on March 8, 2011 at 11:22amHere’s the problem with your statement:
Report Post »You, just like the leftists, decide to group ALL policemen or law enforcement together as being corrupt. This is typical of your mindset and of the left. Because of what you said, I do believe you are an Obama follower because HE believes in COLLECTIVE SALVATION and collective everything. The same thing can be applied to anyone who enforces the law. If there is one bad apple, then they are all bad. I must disagree with you on this. NOT ALL COPS are bad. I know quite a few who are wonderful at what they do and who are fair and honest. I have seen several of them let minor offenders go because they had no previous record and because of that, some of those offenders went to college and are now successful businessmen. So get rid of the bad attitude. It’s like saying ALL AMERICANS are bad because of Timothy McVey. It is a ridiculous statement and it shows who you really are, a lower mentality and definitely NOT A LEADER of righteousness.

Posted on March 8, 2011 at 12:04pmLaw Enforcement as an INSTITUTION has historically demonstrated contempt for the general public, and have an extensive history of violence towards civilians.
As far as every single individual officer being “corrupt”, I haven’t made that statement.
My mindset is that we as individual citizens can exercise our own right to bear arms, and I would prefer that over being arbitrarily taxed for the existence of law enforcement, which has never been able to adequately secure anything, and increasingly exist for the purpose of revenue enhancement for localities that are already overtaxed.
We cannot afford their pensions and salaries.
That’s not to say that the elimination of services such as law enforcement will greatly reduce our debt burden and deficits, but that its arbitrary expansion of powers, regionalization, and federalization is a threat to the sovereignty of the people.
I DON’T believe in collective salvation, and I don’t know how you can ascertain that from my statement.
This isn’t an issue of my “attitude”, but is an issue of encroachment on the sovereignty of the people.
Timothy McVeigh was led by the hand by agent provacatuers who most likely worked for our own government.
I don’t think all law enforcement is bad, I think that a lot of them for the most part believe they are doing the right thing, but the institutions as a whole are positioning themselves between the people and the “government”, to protect the “government” from the people. The people ARE the government, not the President, the Congress/Senate, or the Judicial arms.
Police should ALWAYS stand with the people, not stand in their way. They get their rights from us, not the other way around, and we get our rights from God. We pay them and they work for us. They should never stand in our way or impede our freedom in any aspect.
