Rep. Mike Castle thinks the radio hosts played a “significant” role in his defeat:
“I think the misrepresentations and the lies of Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh on the air were another very significant part of all of this. I think some of the misrepresentations in my opponent’s race were a part of it as well.”
The Huffington Post notes Hannity’s response:
“He sounds like a liberal, blaming other people!”

Sep. 16, 2010 at 12:51pmWhat a sore LOSER. If anyone ever had any doubts that this RINO was a Liberal, all you have to do is listen to his whining… “I was cheated, it wasn’t fair, boo hoo, someone change my diapers.”

Sep. 16, 2010 at 12:49pmJust look at who Castle didn’t call (Christine) and look at who called Castle (Barry & Biden) and you don’t need experts to explain why Christine won and Castle lost. You can’t fool ALL the people ALL the time.

Sep. 16, 2010 at 12:45pmEstablishment politicians(regardless of party) have no allegiance, but to themselves, by way of their allegiance to the establishment.
The last 30 years:
A payoff here a favor owed there…”Sure, I don’t have any problem screwing my constituents.”
After the election:
“What do you mean I didn’t get re-elected? I think I am gonna cry and blame the stupid voters.”
You get what you deserve.

Sep. 16, 2010 at 12:42pmA whole lot of politicians are shaking in thier boots right now, trying to figure out how to justify thier voting records to thier consituents. Yes, we have been paying attention, and yes we can find out how you voted in the past. The Dems and the POTUS have officially rendered the Blame Game ineffective by using it at every opportunity. The current Establishment in DC, both sides of the isle, are in for big trouble if they have to actually answer for their voting records and the reasoning behind each vote. Oh oh, the people have figured out that if you don’t vote the way you promised on the campaign trail, those who voted for you the last time have no quams about finding a replacement for you.

Sep. 16, 2010 at 12:41pmIt’s like dealing with addicts–they just don’t admit they have a problem until they crash and burn. Maybe Castle needs to own up to the idea that our Federal government is a monster that he helped create. Such scapegoating!

Sep. 16, 2010 at 12:36pmWhy would Obama and Biden call this loser. Maybe they want him to run as as Independent or maybe convert to Democrat. Wouldn’t surprise anyone. They must think Christine has a greater chance of winning than her own party believes. If he runs as an I or D, it would only prove why he lost in the first place. These people are all scum, they have been in DC too long.

People are looking for men and women of honor and of integrity that will stand for the things that the founding fathers stood for. GO AMERICA!! I don’t expect an answer anytime soon, since it’s been more than 24 hours and while you’ve not called Christine O’Donnell to congratulate her on her win over you, I believe you’ve called or have been called by, VP Bite Me, and his boss Obummer.

Sep. 16, 2010 at 12:48pmCastle is referring to various media outlets stating that Castle voted to impeach George Bush. The impeachment proposal was never actually voted on due to the fact it died over at the Judiciary Committee. However, what Castle neglects to point out, from numerous news outlets, is the fact that he did indeed vote to bring the impeachment proposal to the Judiciary committee. Glad he’s gone, we have suffered enough from career politicians, who are so very skilled at mincing words.

Sep. 16, 2010 at 1:18pmYou can bet Obama called Castle personally to offer his condolences…..which led into a converstaion about how Castle is now free to support Dems in the upcoming lame duck session without reprocussions. I bet there were some favors thrown his way to get him on the Dem’s side in anything coming down the pike, so that Obama can tout “Bi-Partisan Support” for all the malarky that is going to be shoved through before their reign in Congress comes to a close.

Sep. 16, 2010 at 1:28pmRIGHTon Rojblake. Some politicians feel that since they’ve been in office for 40years, I “deserve” to be re-elected, just like Rangel. It makes absolutely no difference what they do “to” people. We are all stupid…..stupid! People, politicians, D&R are recipiants of the biggest Federal Welfare program in existance in this country. They produce NOTHING for the GDP. However they spend their time with legislation they don’t intend to enforse….like immigration laws for instance. They feel the Constitution reads “We the Government”! They shove Obamacare down our throats! Just wait for the reaction of “We the People” when we PUKE it up in their face!!!
