Does Accidental Voice Mail Capture Alaska Reporters Plotting Miller ‘Child Molesters’ Smear?

Alaska Senate candidate Joe Miller’s campaign claims it has audio proof of local reporters scheming about ways to connect the Republican nominee to “child molesters.”

The Miller campaign blasted out an e-mail overnight containing a transcript and audio recording of what it claimed were reporters at CBS affiliate KTVA discussing story ideas. The conversation, according to the Miller campaign, was recorded on spokesman Randy DeSoto’s voicemail apparently by accident after an assignment editor with the station called him and mistakenly left his phone on instead of hanging up.

Here’s a partial transcrip via LeftCoastRebel:

FEMALE REPORTER: That’s up to you because you’re the expert, but that’s what I would
do…I’d wait until you see who showed up because that indicates we already know
something…
[Laughter]
[INAUDIBLE]
FEMALE REPORTER: Child molesters…
MALE REPORTER: Oh yeah… can you repeat Joe Miller’s…uh… list of people, campaign
workers, which one’s the molester?
[INAUDIBLE]
FEMALE VOICE: We know that out of all the people that will show up tonight, at least one of
them will be a registered sex offender.
[Laughter]
MALE REPORTER: You have to find that one person…
[INAUDIBLE]
FEMALE REPORTER: And the one thing we can do is ….we won’t know….we won’t know but
if there is any sort of chaos whatsoever we can put out a twitter/facebook alert: saying what
the… ‘Hey Joe Miller punched at rally.’
FEMALE REPORTER: Kinda like Rand Paul…I like that.
[Laughter]
FEMALE REPORTER: That’s a good one.

Once again the MSM (mainstream media) reinforces it truly is the MSM (mentally sick media). This type of defamation is truly twisted and makes one wonder which journalists are lying or not when they report. The distinction of knowing has become so skewed it cripples all truth from the media.

Sarah broke two HUGE stories Sunday morn with the Joe Miller/CBS and the conservative talk radio guy being kicked off air. Lil’ Chrissy wallace didnt like Sarah telling him to knock off the long questions, so he gets back at her telling her to knock off the long answers. Did wallace actually think peeps want to listen to his stupid questions or Sarah’s news breaking answers??? It musta been the cbs commie history in the wallace family. Chrissy is an arrogant twerp.

A quick reminder to my peer posters here: This is not the (now officially) George Soros sponsored MediaMatters, so what say we raise the level of our discourse rather than lowering it to their level, and thus further distinguish ourselves from them by not resorting to un-needed profanity and slurs. We have more than enough ammunition to defeat them on the merits, because we have the winning argument.

  I understand what you want, but people are still going to practice free-speech as they choose. As long as people are telling the truth, it doesn’t bother me. Besides, it seems that the left only knows low-brow so we are just trying to speak in a language they understand.

Campaign Carl (formerly of NH) called this the ‘silly season’. I would say that it’s far more serious than that, when you have what is supposed to be serious media, actually PLOTTING to try to smear a candidate. These reporters should be FIRED!

This would appear to be expected from the big three networks. Everyone of any intelligence is aware. The surprising thing here is CBS was the better of the bunch I thought. Guess I was wrong. Now NBC would be capable of anything, I’m sure they are putting this to shame right now.

  I believe it’s high time to reorganize the entire MSM…..
  Break it all up , along with the Dept of Education and the Board of Education.. Break uo the media and privatize the whole education system A great private school education is about 1/3 the cost of a public school education……….and without the commies and pedophiles

  @justanamerican Yes, you can buy the redacted version. All of the non-redacted published versions were purchased by the government and burned. The books had already passed two separate army reviews and were published. The government bought every copy and burned them. Wikileaks is claiming to have a copy but it has so far not been seen.

  The media has lied about Sarah Palin banning of books, forcing victims to pay for their own rape kits, and her stance on sex education.
  They have tried to portray Sarah Palin as a religious nut, even though she was elected and maintained a high approval rating as governor of one of the least religious states in the country.
  They have portrayed her an unintelligent, even though she has effectively negotiated the one of the largest private sector infrastructure projects in North America’s history when her predecessors had done little to move that project forward in the previous three decades.
  The media have portrayed as greedy for making money after she stepped aside from the Governor’s office, while completely ignoring the fact the Obamas made more than 5 million dollars in his first year in office and a prominent Republican purchased a house in the San Diego area for the same amount that the media claims that Governor Palin has made since her resignation. They have maligned her family by spreading rumors of divorce and claiming her youngest son isn’t really hers. This is all is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
  When Governor Palin calls for the media to “quit making things up”, this is what she means. When she calls them the “lamestream media”, this is what she means.

I am not sure how things work in the rest of the states, but when someone insults a Texan there is usually an az$ whoopin. That is exactly what the left wants: to nudge and push and prod good and decent people into something, ANYTHING, that they can exploit. My feeling is the same as the paparazzi… Follow the followers.
