Anyone who listens to Jesse Jackson deserves what they get. He’s been supplying the psychological lobotomy required to keep blacks ‘in their place’ (under his thumb) for decades. IMHO, he should be held up as the antithesis to success.

Will the residents of the inner cities ever get it? They have supported the Dems for generations and their lives haven’t gotten better. They continue to vote for their captors who only give them hollow promises and continued poverty. Are these folks ever going to wake up. Do they really like what the Dems in Chicago, Detroit, LA, etc. have “given” them?

  Kryptonite…I think you hit on something there….Anarchy and martial law are the immediate goals. they are using the poor as cannonfodder to accomplish the “top-down. bottom-up” squeeze. Jackson does not care about ‘his’ people, any more than al sharpton does…they mean to cause a tipping-point. There is no way that the progs don’t know that what they are doing is hurting the urban black population. Everything that has been done by this administration has been damaging to the economy, and it has been obvious from the start that the bottom is the target. Jackson is clueless.

  Max, Kryptonite…Martial law is on the way, I believe, and the ilk of this administration is just trying to push it over to watch it crash. But don’t worry too much because the dumbing down that has been done to them by there own kind through govt subsidies and pitiful education just being given to them so the pass rates of the schools will be good, works in the rest of the countries favor. They will not be able to get out of the city because they won’t be able to read a map. They have no drive or determination so gardening or hunting is beyond them. Yes they will riot and burn and march but not anywhere outside of their own neighborhoods, which they will burn to the ground due to their own ignorance. Just look at past riots to see what was destroyed. The inner city will be hurt but nothing outside of that so let them burn the city to the ground, we can come in and rebuild when they revert to their afrikan roots they so tout about and start killing the other “tribes” within the city. Let them implode but I dare them to venture my way, again, lack of ecducation has devoided them of learning tactics, cover and concealment, windage, sighting in, target aquisition and basic life skills.   Yes, Lloyd, but please remember – you can be “poor” now AND have indoor plumbing, a car, food, shelter, clothing, a flat-screen tv, junk food, and afford liquor. Gone are the days where poverty actually meant not having food, clothing, shelter, electricity, indoor plumbing, access to information, or an education paid for by the general population.

Ok, let’s do this….give him the keys. He gets to decide the tax rates for all of us. His decision will be final and he will tell all of America on live TV.

Then, the next poor person found will be delivered to his home with a note that Mr. Jackson is now responsible for everything that person needs. Then the same for the next person. And on and on.

I’m so tired of the idiot demanding my money for his causes. I enjoy drowning in my wealth as is my right to do so.

Stripping me of my wealth does not improve a poor persons life. A poor person improving their own life is the only solution. And please never tell me because they are poor they can’t become rich.

Where has Jesse been for the last two years? Don’t know how he missed Obama’s agenda of reordering America’s economy – certainly it hasn’t missed our business or family, nor all the other families and business’ that have closed or are struggling. Instead of yapping about what Obama needs to do (as if he hasn’t done enough to kill jobs and the economy) why doesn’t he pull out his check book and help the people in that shelter afford housing. Always talking and never doing anything to back it up – typical.

Yes, let’s help those who can’t help themselves, but I draw the line giving and giving to able bodied people who don’t want to do anything for themselves. I’ve heard too many stories about people who get out and do what they have to do to make it in life rather than waiting for the rest of the nation to do everything for them because they are lazy or didn’t bother to take advantage of free schools. And I agree ,he had to get a little dig at our military,which is a crock. My father was a career enlisted man. There was and is plenty of srvs and support.   He mentions that in the homeless shelter some of the women have husbands in irag or afghanistan. I assume he is referring to military. If they are married to military don’t they get a housing allowance? If they can’t pay the rent, are they buying drugs instead?

  When things really get tough in the American economy where are all the “gemme, gemme ” folks going to get their free handouts ? The “bottem up, top down” theory of “distribution of the wealth” fails to take into consideration that there won’t be ANY weath to distribute. The Reverend Jesse Jackson has been preaching the same sermon title for the last 50 years, “Take From The Haves And Give It To The Have Nots”. Of course the haves are the whites and the have nots are the blacks to diehard racists bigots like the Rev, Jackson. The San Francisco/Golden Gate area is one of the, if not the most, tightly controlled areas in terms of housing in the nation. Because of that, the SF real estate market is in the stratosphere. Don’t believe me? Okay. I know he’s way beyond your league, but go check it out with Dr. Thomas Sowell, if Dr. Sowell decides to give you the time of day.
  
  Just in case you forget who he is, Dr. Sowell is the Milton Friedman Senior Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, Stanford, California. He’s been talking about the housing problems in the Golden Gate area for years, maybe even decades by now.
  
  So, let’s talk about places a bit closer to home. Let’s talk Detroit and Chicago. What about the housing crises there? Are people in the homeless shelters there working?

  Of course this moron is on King Ed the Moron show. I know ed schlitz and he flip-flopped in 1995. Back in the late 80′s he was a sportscaster for a large North Dakota TV network but his wife beating cost him his job. Then he moved to radio where he preceded RUSH on a 2 hr. long show; he was a superstar in the upper midwest and made $$$ millions. Suddenly in the mid 90s he met and fell in love with a communist woman and that’s when (he says) he had his “epiphany” and converted to communism. I’m sure now that he’s on MSNBC both his viewers enjoyed his stupid interview with this communist jackson. Both of them need to head out to China, N.   He is talking about the working poor. Also he refers to people who had their spouse killed in war not still fighting. The richest 12,000 households have more income than the bottom 24 million. In the past 30 years the richest 1% went from 9% of all income to nearly 25%. Wages for the middle class have been flat and for the working poor they have been falling. I’d call that ‘Radical Reordering’ of The American Economy. Of course I don’t expect anyone here to find that offensive. What will it take, 80%, 90%, or more of all income to the top 1% or more before that seems troubling to anyone here?   There’s no doubt about it now. We need to locate the people that are not happy with AMERICA and give them a one way ticket to anywhere but AMERICA. All these people are crying about things not being fair are just that. CRYBABIES. Then maybe we can finally have some peace around here.   I agree Dusty. The dirtiest shame of all this is that all these black activists, e.g., Jackson, Sharpton and their ilk are all continuing the slavery that they so abhore. Slavery to dependency, slavery to big government, slavery to handouts, slavery to poverty, slavery to believing they can’t rise above their current status, slavery to rotten attitudes about themselves, society, education and life in general. All of this ends with a “you owe me” attitude that reinforces the slavery. Jackson needs to get a REAL life and take Sharpton and others on the journey with him.

  I think I’d rather be poor and know that I at least have an opportunity to achieve great wealth and success based on my own motivation and my lifes decisions. Also, if I did achieve such a life, I certainly wouldn’t want to be held accountable and have to pay extra or give up what I’ve earned through hard work and determination for the misfortunes of others and their bad decisions. If someone is determined and works hard, they can do anything, just ask Barry. If you want things to be truely fair, then EVERYONE should get the same tax rate and treatment. Contrary to popular liberal belief, this country and it’s system awards everyone the same opportunities, actually it offers the “under-privilaged” even more support and opportunities to achieve success. Especially when compared to any other country and system. Europe for example, how can anyone deny the failure of their socialistic policies? The fact of the matter is, not everyone can or will ever be equal. The truth hurts, but theres no other system thats sustainable let alone conducive to economic growth and prosperity for those willing to work for it.
  
  On topic, the blacks will never excel in our society until they get that slavery chip off their shoulders and embrace the USA as their own and realize that terrible things have happened to all of our ancestors. Not just theirs. This is the source of their contempt and it needs to be addressed or we’ll never see true harmony.

  Tucsonan you are absolutely correct. What are they doing in a homeless shelter? When my dad was gone we went to live with family until he got back unless we happened to own the home. We were near base with the PEx and commissary which was always cheaper. Perhaps he is referring to National Guardsmen that are deployed and I am not familiar with how that is set up. My dad was a lifer.
  Knowing how manipulative and what an outright liar Jesse Jackson is, he was playing the sympathy card, big time.

  Poor Jesse is the epitome of what’s wrong with our Country. God said the poor will be with us always. Perhaps those who don’t put forth the effort live a poor life. Or perhaps we teach them to be forever dependent on the Government by giving them welfare, medical, food stamps, free education, on & on.
  The truth is: In New Orleans the people were warned to get out and they didn’t move because they knew if a disaster hit, the Government would come take care of them. Yes, this is the truth! Why do for yourself when the Gov. will do it from cradle to grave if you sit on your azzes with no desire to help yourselves?   I caught that part too. I’m an active duty miltary spouse, have been for almost 20 years now, and I’ve NEVER heard of a spouse, especially with children, ending up in a homeless shelter due to a deployment. Between the soldier’s basepay (which is tax exempt during deployments to Iraq or Afghanistan), BAH, BAS, Family Seperation pay, any additional monthly pay that may be allowed the soldier due to where exactly they serve over there…there is MORE than enough money to pay rent, utilities, and support the serving soldier. The only reason there would NOT be would be the fault of the person handling the money in the family.
  
  I don’t say this often, as I am a firm believer that there are no laws that guarantee a person the right NOT to get offended by something someone or some group says, ….but Jesse Jackson’s ever so slight insinuation that the deployment of our soldiers in some way places an extremely undue burden on their families offends the heck out of me.
