Since he thought Egypt’s ruler should step down because the people demanded it…then should he not drop health care cause we demand it? And did he not steal the election with the help of Acorn.

We have allowed these thugs, similar to Chicago Maifia tactics, to take God and Christ out of everything this country has ever stood for. Do your homework people, we are headed for disaster as the Muslim groups all over this country are going to rise up. They are already invading our schools, wanting their holidays observed, wanting Arabic taught in Texas (but parents put that one down), and anything pertaining to Christianity they want to take away, along with enforcing Sharia law upon this country. We cannot stand by and do nothing.

  Cojones! How many people will it take to explain the word “caliphate” and the Muslim Brotherhood before people get it. The liberals find it so easy and fun to point to Glenn Beck as a freak. They are going to be very busy trying to dismiss the Caliphate as a conspiracy theory as time goes on. I pray for the Egyptian people, and I hope it is not too late for all of us to wake up to the truth.

  Obama acts like an amateur, and clearly he is. But how can anyone at least not even consider that a caliphate is exactly what he, and the rest of the one world order tribe, wanted?
  We need to make sure that the freshmen republican congressmen and women stick to their agenda.. as it seems they are doing. We don’t have any time to waste. What can happen.. and clearly what is happening.. if left unchallenged.. will never be able to be reversed.

    Exactly they see Christian as a religious group that will compromise the rule of law. And Muslims as a group unwilling to compromise so they believe Christian will roll over and take a one world shirea system thus creating a world government. They are soo short sighted it’s unbelievable. The teachings of Christ are currently the largest grow religion in China. So while they are trying to curtail to Islam they are alienating Christians as well as Jewish groups. Obama can’t please everyone and he as obviously sided with his father(the one that abandoned him) and his socialist Islamic belief.

    I’ll stick with the conservative leaders like George Wills and William Krystal, instead of Beck and his cherry picked quotes.

    Beck is in a corner and will lie to make it seem as if his prediction have any bases in fact. Nor is Ferguson’s comments accurate, the protestors were asking for military control prior to an election. The pro-democracy crowd won and Beck is upset his favorite dictator is out of power.

Glenn has no more perspective on the complicated situation in Egypt than a lone hiker in the wilderness has on the long range weather forecast based on his limited view of the sky through the canopy of leaves above his head. When Glenn claims that he does know how this complex situation will play out, it illustrates how arrogant, misguided and delusional he really is. All the chalk boards, flow charts and emotional bluster in the world won’t change that simple fact.

    Here we go again with Beck is crazy and off the deep end. It is easy for the rest of the MSM to jump on the current and not the future. Beck finds patterns in history and applies to them to current ongoing patterns in the present. I feel his method is right on as there is no perfect method of predicting the outcome of a nation. Beck’s approach to our situation with Egypt is pretty simple, he warns against complacency of change for the sake of change, shows how it can get worse, and then hopes he is wrong and proper correction is put in place to avoid the worst case scenario and then gives his plan to fix it unlike everybody else. The point is Encinom and BeckisNuts, Beck is willing to use these patterns in history to predict outcomes because they hold water. Saying anything on the contrary is clearly just an opinion with no historical merit. The irony of this whole thing is Beck WANTS to be wrong about this but clearly shows that he has been right when chips fall as they are falling. Why not be prepared for catastrophe instead of waking up in the middle of it later? It is real easy to point out that Beck is an alarmist because he predicts things that have yet to play out…THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT! Do you realize by bringing light to these situations does more good then sitting back and watching it unfold. Do you really think Beck is looking for notoriety and praise for his opinions? He realizes he will be wrong on some accounts but feels that it is his obligation to shed light on it. He has courage to stand when the rest of you sit and criticize. Offer your own opinion and share it and stand on the stage that he is on and be prepared for the naysayers as he is. Also, do you realize that being informed is a means of stopping a possible negative outcome? Public opinion and being informed with facts can deviate any plan if enough support is given prior to the event even happening. Beck is smart enough to understand that using HISTORY is factually based to make educated assumptions about current events. MSNBC will NEVER have the balls to give projections based on history as they don’t have the intelligence and production savvy to see that Beck has cornered the market with his type of show. So, although your concerns are notable, they are also lacking foundation. If Beck is wrong about Egypt, then all will be better, but if he is right, what’s your excuse for not being prepared?

    Someone mentioned earlier that Glenn was the first to bring Caliphate to our attention, but Joel Rosenberg in his book “The Twelfth Imam” talks about Caliphate, and even though it is fiction, he lists the details of fact that were written in the book. So it is hard to fathom that our government or State Department, or National Homeland Security could not have known this was a possibility. Of course you have to look at how hopeless they are at times.

    WOW! I saw this post yesterday and because of my total dislike of Harvard Professors, I didn’t bother looking at video or read posts. This A.M. I decided to check it out and see why Mica could possibly say it was so peaceful in Egypt. Did this Harvard Prof. give it to ‘em. I’ve assumed most Prof’s are so liberal they are like teats on a boar hog, but this man knew his stuff and let ‘em have it. I loved the look of shock from Joe & Mica and their ineptness to grasp what had happened. This guy has changed my mind about Profs. Fairness is what I look for, mostly.

The fact is, other protests have been nipped in the bud and Glenn’s fantastical claims have not come to fruition. Glenn was wrong last Thursday when he told his critics and skeptics to “GO TO HELL!” He’s wrong again today so he’s trying to redirect our attention elsewhere. It looks like the “GO TO HELL” videos online, at least some, have been scrubbed as well. Glenn makes a great Gestapo agent.

    Well nutsy. Glenn didn’t say the bomb would go off today, tomorrow or sometime this week. The fuse is buring. Why do so many people who are educated, knowledgable, experienced in middle east afairs, etc. (Hasni Mubarak, Benjamin Netanyahu, Niall Ferguson, etc.) see that there is high potential for a repeat of what happened in Iran to happen in Egypt. At the same time Liberals, like yourself nutsy, as well as the current President and his administration don’t even admit the great potential for a hardline group taking over Egypt.

    Since you like Nazi representations. You are like the German people during the years Hitler and the Nazi’s came to power. You have blinders on and will allow the worst to happen because you refuse to see the other potential scenarios that are present.

    BeckIsNuts: You are only witnessing the short-term effect of an army-inflicted stand-down of the citizens of Cairo/Egypt. There will be seven (7) months of the army keeping a lid on things until elections, after which anything could happen. The Muslim Brotherhood has always been just under the political arrangements in Egypt, under Mubarak, kept toothless. Remember, it was the Muslim Brotherhood who assassinated Sadat, Mubarak’s immediate predecessor. Revolutions do not take place in only 18-days. They may start within 18-days, but we have not seen the end of this matter.

The president claims over and over again that he is a Christian, but denies the very deity of Christ in saying that there are more ways to heaven than just one. All the while he runs up insurmountable debt using illogical theories that spending far more than you have will somehow magically bring your finances into balance. And at every corner, he challenges Israel to give its land to terrorists in the name of peace–even making Israel’s Prime Minister exit the White House through an ally of trash.

    The American people have been took. There is no other explanation. We have been sold a bill of goods and if we truly want to know what is going on, we have to close our ears to the rhetoric and open our eyes to the actions. Jesus said in Matthew 7:15,16, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.” It is astounding that the well-educated masses in the world’s most prosperous nation would not catch on to the reality that spending does not bring prosperity; that denying the deity of Christ does not make a Christian; that supporting Islamic terrorists does not bring peace; that making allies exit through trash is not honor.

    Israel’s Labor Party leader Benjamin Ben-Eliezer told IDF Radio: “We learn from history. We remember what was said when Carter proposed that the Shah of Iran give up nicely and allow Khomeini to take his place. In Gaza, too, when the Americans came in, they supervised the democratic elections [via which Hamas came into power]. If there are elections in Egypt the way the Americans want, I will be surprised if the Muslim Brotherhood does not win. This will be a new Middle East–radical, Islamic and extremist…I think the Americans still don’t realize the extent of the catastrophe into which they have pushed the Middle East.” Al-Takeyya is Islam’s term for lying to advance Islam. I wonder if its pronounced “I’ll Take Ya” in Chicago.

    Yea Niall F. had them speechless. One of the best presentations about our inept administration especially regarding foreign policy that I have heard to date. It is at the least embarrasing and at the most chilling. The points he made were right on. If the administrations flip flops were strategic in any way covertly beneficial, they were completely incoherent overtly which is far more damaging to our standing in the worlds eyes than any perceived benefit. This giddy excitement about Egypts freedom is much more premature than GW’s “mission accomplished” photo op. Fools rush in!!!!

    If you fast forward to about 8:45 on the video you will hear that Nonie Darwish (the author of Cruel and Usual Punishment and the President of FormerMuslimsUnited.org.) says that it is very interesting that the signs you see in Egypt DO NOT vilify the US for what has happened to their country…however, the signs in protests around the US do indeed blame the US for Egypt’s revolution…The Left stirring the pot of hatred in America? Go figure, huh?

    I woke up and just happened to tune into this interview… I would say they got their butts handed to them but Mika and company had nothing to counter him with… nothing. The comments were weak, the questions were timid… they were hit with intelectual shock and awe. Awesome.

    The first two lines – about forgiving Mika for believing the media view of the Cairo uprising, and how can she claim the result was “pretty damn good” when the military has basically committed a coup… duh!

    Simon Schama, a famous left-leaning historian and expert on political/social revolutions, predicted two weeks ago that this would all end with the military taking over. People in the WH also pointed to the military as the moderating force in the short-term. Niall Fergie, whose hatred of Obama overwhelms rational thought on the issue, at once claims that the revolution is a failure because:

    1) liberals didn’t predict this outcome, even though they did
    2) the military is in control, even though it is a moderating force that will not attack Israel
    3) the Muslim Brotherhood taking over the country is a forgone conclusion even though it isn’t

    He assumes a future outcome that makes Obama look bad, asserts it as a reality, and then uses it to prove that Obama is incompetent. This is not analysis, but brainless political attacks.

    Contrast that with Fareed Zakaria’s analysis on CNN, in which he pointed out how the transition in Egypt is taking place both more peacefully and more quickly than in the Philippines, where Reagan dragged his feet for years, or in Indonesia, where Clinton’s lack of focus on it cost much more bloodshed. Conservatives’ criticism of Obama is not only all over the map, but it ignores far worse transitions overseen by prior Presidents who at that time enjoyed more relative power than the US does today, but who screwed it up much more. Worse, these critics ignore a lot of other relevant facts and contradict themselves in their critique. Ferguson ought to know better, but he clearly has an ideological and political axe to grind, and he is no doubt rooting for worse-case scenarios merely to say he was right. Luckily, the odds of that occurring are probably rather low.

    That was freakin beautiful. That woman is a ditz in the fourth degree and always has been, she hangs around on the set of “Morning Joe Rino” for a couplke years and she’s a foreign policy expert who had these cutesy little questions ready and got breakfast lunch and dinner handed to her.

    God help us if the country at large can’t see we’re in more simultaneous dire straits at this moment than anytime in the past century likely since the population makeup today isn’t ready to do the fighting our parents and grandparents did and I must be included in that as a 46 y o man too old and crippled to fight a battle but I’ll defend my home turf here in conjunction with neighbors if need be.

    We’re in trouble, anyone who’s sleeping well at night I’d like to know how other than liberals using the Charlie Sheen 5 days up cracking and 5 days down napping in a coma method.

    republicans want autocracy …theirs, is that Egypt is not our colony unless you want to insert another
    Shah, which is probably what is being hinted at here. Obama’s goal has been clear from the start, its their country and their democracy. To the extent you believe our will should prevail there its to that same extent that you favor another puppet. Maybe its our policies over there that need adjusting not
    their enforcement ….we can’t kill everybody even by proxy.

    Mika saying to the guest about Obama’s “flip-flop-flip,” “Well, didn’t it work?” Her argument for Obama’s “success” was basically that he got lucky.

    The guest in effect insulting the hosts by saying that anyone who thinks this was a success doesn’t know anything.

    I know that when Bush 43 came into office that everybody was worried about him not being experienced enough for the job. But he did things right and surrounded himself with people who a) had that experience and b) knew what to do and when to do it when crises came about!
