i believe that God is merciful and that people who have not had the opportunity to hear the Gospel will most certainly have the opportunity to accept him as Saviour before they are cast away. To truly believe that he is so heartless as to condemn a soul to endless torment for something they have no control over I believe is monstrous.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 9:30pmThe discussion which Nixon and Billy Graham had concerning the Jews and Zionist is inlcuding in this video entitled “Should Christians Support Israel”.
I doubt that many of you will be able to listen and learn but it causes just a few to pause and think it’s served its purpose. If there are facts that are worng or are in err on the video please share so that I too can become more informed.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 9:06pmBilly Graham has denied that Jesus is the only way to heaven. I don’t know if he has repented and recanted this statement or not. But halfway through the video, any true Christian will see he is preaching a false Gospel and Paul says that is of the Devil.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 9:01pmRev. Graham is a good man of God. Lived his life as closely as he could to Jesus, always keeping his eyes on Jesus, not the complicated full of don’ts God, but the easy to know uncomplicated Jesus (John 3:16). John uses the word “believe” over 80 times in his gospel. Billy Graham was careful to turn people to Jesus, not to himself. He tried to model Christ (and yes, he was human and not perfect). But he lived a clean life – yes?

Feb. 22, 2011 at 9:00pmMy Mother was a very wise woman…she watched Billy Graham every time he was on TV and my siblings and I watched with her. Aside from going to church every Sunday, and spending time with our Reverend in Bible study, Billy was our mentor and connected us to the rest of our country and the world.
I left my religion when I was old enough to make my own decision, and I was lost for nearly 40-years of my life. In the end, before I turned it all around, I openly defied God and cursed him and begged him to kill me if he was so powerful. Of course, God would never kill those he loves so dear. I finally realized this, and came back to him and begged and received His forgiveness.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 8:54pmFor the wrath of god is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of god is manifest in them, for God hath shewed it unto them.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 8:41pmI love the part where Rev. Graham tells Glenn that ‘it isn’t time (to meet) yet’. Then, a while later, Glenn thinks again about meeting with Rev. Graham and gets a call two days later.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 11:43pmI gotta say that some people have a “lot of good” in them, and some, like Brokero101, not so much.
It is possible to smother the light of goodness with stupidity, envy, malice, and childishness that one should have long outgrown. Some don’t care about the light from above because they are basking in the limelight of their own imagination.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 8:37pmAre you feeling OK Tower? What’s the problem with Graham? Those sites seem a bit deranged at best. I think Billy Graham has had an overall positive effect on the nation over the years. The further we move away from spirituality, the deeper we sink as a society. Just look around. We used to look up to people like Ward Cleaver, now we look up to people like Snookie.

Feb. 22, 2011 at 8:33pmGlenn, It’s about the best thing you could have done. Grew up listening to and watching Dr. Graham who profoundly affected my life, still does. The light is bright because we know the CREATOR of that light and the darkness is equally dark because of the evil which exists there. “Let there be light!” May GOD BLESS AND PROTECT you and yours. May HE keep us strong as we face the light, HIS light and as we stand in the blaze. “All is well.”

He has the 4 great principles of true manhood. 1) accept responsibility 2) reject passivity 3) lead courageously and 4) live for a greater cause. I look forward to seeing him on the other side.

Feb. 24, 2011 at 1:53amOh, by the way if your family tree goes back to our Revolution and/or older you will find more then one branch hoisting a Jolly Roger or shining under the Moon; or being lead by the Spirit to pastor a flock; could be a madam or two with a sprinkling of working girls in there as well. Cut-throats, thieves, murders, swindlers, cheats, bums and holy-men are in there for our forebears came from the landless, the persecuted, out of prisons and some two steps from the work of the hangman. Who else would risk life and limb to hack out of the wilderness a home and family? Even the One who paid the debt we could never pay had many of those types in his family linage, how human, how American; how Christian?
