(Because they don’t have to!!)

Dumbocrats are already holding the black population as slaves. Only thing is that the Jackasses of the political world, Jesse, and Jr, are the head Overseers. They themselves hold the whip, they themselves tell the blacks what to do, what to say, what to eat, what to wear, what to do for work. They then tell the government how much welfare to give the poor poor poor blacks who have been kept down for so long. If they would get off their lazy wide, asses and get a job, they then could buy their own laptops. I am so sick and tired of this type of BS.

Whatever Jesse or Jesse Jr or Al Sharpton say…think the opposite and that will be of most benefit to the “ghetto kids” they speak for. Idea #1…instead of giving the “ghetto kids” tinkets (Ipad, Ipod, MacPCs) privatize the Public Housing projects. Give the apartments to the inhabitants for a nominal amount. They would then own the apartment, own the mortgage (indeed manageable), or they could sell the apartment. Results would be beneficial for all individuals. How many inhabitants of an apartment building would allow for drug dealers to operate openly, thereby driving down the value of their individually owned asset? How much money would deficit ridden cities save from handing off the management and maintenance of the building to private owners?
If one can vote as an indivdual, one should be able to own and manage private property and the societal responsibilities that come with it.
Implementation of this policy would have to be monitored carefully so that Jesse, Jesse Jr et al do not use it as yet another oportunity to confiscate from Eric Holder’s people.

The soviet union “guaranteed” rights to work, to shelter etc. and where did that get them, not enough jobs, just kill off a few million workers, not enough food, make sure the party eats and has their vacation Dacha’s.

Did this id10t REALLY suggest that the government is responsible for granting human rights? Did he REALLY suggest that human rights are not derived from within or from the almighty creator? Wowsers – instead of reading the junk he reads, he probably needs to pick up a good Ayn Rand book and start readin. He can start with the short ones like Anthem before even trying to read the big ones like Atlas Shrugged. Either way, he needs a lesson in proper civics. Id10t “leaders” like him are adding to the problem, they’re not generating solutions.

well I suppose when you see the American people leave your socialist agenda, you gotta appeal to those who don’t have the gumption to provide for themselves. I’m not refering to those who have fallen on hard times or those who are diabled. I’m talking about those who’ve never been motivated to take necessarry steps to improve their lot.

Our Founders understood that our rights descend from God. Maybe we should amend the Bible to provide all those rights.

As far as rights go, our diminishing rights and others’ increasing rights are the direct result of removing God from the equation.

Without an all-powerful being, you have an all-powerful government. Rights are no longer inalienable (not transferable to another or capable of being repudiated). Rights are whatever the government says they are. Not only can the government take away rights, such as the right to bear arms, they can transfer them to others and can invent rights — the right to food, the right to housing, the right to happiness. And there’s only one way a country that takes from the makers and gives to the takers can end up — collapsing.

Of course, this is just common sense and that’s a sixth sense that liberals don’t possess.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

When will Dems figure out that when the government gives Americans things that they expect it and work less.

Basic rights: food, water, shelter, and the right to pursue happiness (not to be happy or successful, but to work hard to be happy and successful). Being happy doesn’t mean that you have tons of stuff or fancy cars and homes, something I realize that many Americans don’t understand. I don’t have a right to a Lexus when I only make $35,000 or a large home with granite counter tops, a media room, and stainless steal appliances.

Wake up Dems!!!!!! The people that you elect will make us vulnerable to take over by other countries.

Someonf needs to let Jackson know that there are million upon millions of poor kids outside the ghettos that don’t have IPOD AND LABTOPS and yet they still manage to do very well in school and in life. And if he really wanted Black America to do better the answer isn’t giving it’s taking. You remove all the government inablers that allow bad behavior to continue. You hold everyone to the same medium stadards not lower the lowest standards. Here’s an easy example When I was younger I used to work but use all my money to party, and take girls out. was 21 living with my dad and on a fast track to ruin. My dad could have just left things alone and let me stay with him and continue ****** up. He didn’t he gave me an ultimatum “you have 6 months to get your stuff together and get out on your own” I ignored him and did what I always did 6 months passed and he threw me out I lived with friends and in my car.Until I finally had enough and learned to be responsible for myself and take care of what I had.Didn’t take long either about 3 weeks.

The Jacksons and the Sharptons of the world will never be happy until they have taken from every productive human and given they have earned to those with their hand out. The jacsons have produced nothing but envy in the world. Those that have, better buy some gold and hide their wealth, because the way things are going their wealth will soon be plundered by these parasites.

I would have to agree with Mr. Jackson. Yes every American should have a good home, every American should have good health care, every American should have a good job, every American should have the ipod and laptop if they want them. The difference is Mr. Jackson wants to make it law that mine and your tax dollars make all this possible. While I also think and hope & pray for the same things I realize it is up to me to get off my ass and get an education (one that I must pay for every with student loads) that will help me have the “AMERCIAN DREAM”.

CAN ANYONE SAY TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY AND STOP SEEKING ME TO SUPPORT YOUR FAMILY. WHILE GOD HIMSELF EXPECTS US TO HELP THE NEEDY, LET ME DECIDE OR BE DIRECTED BY GOD WHOM I CHOSE TO HELP AND NOT HAVE A LAW SAYING I HAVE TO. Dam this man is as crazy as his dad.

How about ceasing all the gimmes and having schools and parents work together to teach that if you want something you, you have to earn it? How about using the educated role models instead of egomaniacal sports stars, rap stars, self-aggrandizing politicians, and others who feel that they are above rapproach and above the law? To make it in the real world you must live in the real world and work for it, not live off of someone else’s coattails.

This clip shows what is totally wrong with America! Nutcases who seem to be totally out of touch with our laws, Constitution and Bill of Rights–an iPod is what all the idiots seem to have plugged into instead of going to school—sorry, but they can’t get a good education from unionized teachers because those teachers don’t give a hoot because they get their paychecks whether their kids score in the cellar or at the top of the charts! Unions have created an “entitlement” society which keeps Amercian children in the bottom as represented in the low test scores kids are not getting! Take away the unions and kids might begin to learn something other than entitlements!

When the pipe runs dry, they will steal the units from the good kids and sell them for yet another night at the crack house. If they were given all these things they wouldn’t need a job and unemployment would go higher. How about teaching them to fish instead?

My teen-aged daughter once asked me why everything couldn’t just be free and everyone could just get what that needed. I replied with a question. “Where would you work if everything were free?” She of course replied “No where. I wouldn’t have to work”. I said, exactly and neither would anyone else. If that were the case, who would build the car you want to drive or the house in which you would live, etcetera, etcetera? She immediately saw the problem.

Jesse Jackson Jr. looks to be a little older than a teen; you would think he could also figure out how it wouldn’t work.

How ’bout a Mercedes? “How many people would Mercedes hire if we passed a law in our constitution granted everyone a right to a Mercedes?”. Alright, I better go before I give Jesse Jackson Jr (&Sr probably) some ideas…

My 17 yr old granddaughter has a job and bought her own laptop and ipod. She will be promoted to supervisor when she turns 18. She is enrolled in college and is applying for every scholarship she can. She will live at home to save on expenses. That is how you get ahead. You don’t get it by having someone give you a laptop and an ipod.

The funny thing is that they don’t understand if you make it a right, an entitlement that you receive without having to WORK for, then what is the incentive for working for it?

So we put in our constitution that every American has the right to a home. His logic is that this will create jobs creating enough homes for every American. Who’s going to pay for it? If every American has the right to a home, regardless if they can’t pay for it, then why pay for it? If the consumer isn’t going to pay for it, because he’s entitled to it as a right based on the Constitution, who is going to pay for the labor to build the home?

The same goes for healthcare. He believes a constitutional right will create more doctors. How so? If I can get free healthcare, why would I pay the doctor anything? Will the doctor work for free? Will he work for peanuts? If we can’t afford to pay doctors more than mere peanuts, do you think anyone will spent 100s of thousands of dollars and years of medical school and residency to become a doctor if he gets paid less than a janitor does?

His logic that if everyones entitled to it, they’ll get it, is so laughable it’s almost scary that he’s that moronic to believe this ideal. If you can’t earn it, you don’t get it. If you can’t get it, then work harder to achieve your goals. That’s America. Greedy corporation and corrupt politicians aside, we each have the potential to make our lives better.

Maybe Jr. is just trying to get the government to pay for the upbringing of his half-sibling: You know that kid that Jesse Sr. sired while running around being a philandering male whore a few years back like a real stand-up Christian minister would do. A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to separate investors, not from any actual profit earned by the organization, but from their own money or money paid by subsequent investors. The Ponzi scheme usually entices new investors by offering returns other investments cannot guarantee, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. The perpetuation of the returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises and pays requires an ever-increasing flow of money from investors to keep the scheme going.

It would work! See, all the “ghetto” kids they can take the Ipod and laptop to the corner pawn shop. They could then take that money to buy some cocaine which they in turn rock up and sell to the addict outside the pawn quickly doubling or trebling his money. This works fantastic for the first week or two until the kid gets shot for encroaching on someone else’s turf or does something stupid like dipping into his/her stash. Either way the kid ends up dead (helps the population problems) or in prison, which of course is what the public employee unions and police unions all want. It’s a win win for everyone, well, except for the kid but it isn’t like anyone gives a rats backside about kids anyway.

He knows that something like he suggests will never happen, at least as long there are American patriots left alive it won’t, but it does three things that he supports. 1. It helps with his constituency so they vote for him. 2. It helps him convince his constituency to vote for Obama. 3. It gets people furious on both sides and helps push the US closer to civil war.

Wow that headline is completely misleading. First of all he is quoting from a speech by President Franklin Roosevelt, a statement that is oddly cut-out of the video here. I did find one person in 24 pages of overtly racist statements who actually looked that up. Also I didn’t say that the constitution should give anyone I-Pods or Laptops he said, again quoting Roosevelt, that we need to add the right to a decent education to the Constitution. He then asks rhetorically how many people would such an amendment employ providing every student with ipods and laptops. AND THEN he asks rhetorically how many ghettos and barrios would be affected by a Constitutional right to a free education. Seriously Beck does say do your own research…try it some time.

Are they going to have to build those houses for free? They can’t afford it, or will default on it. I’ve seen beautiful housing, akin to to military housing, go up for low income. Then they don’t appreciate it and within a year, it’s trashed. It’s like my first car. My dad bought my first car for me, and I didn’t really take care of it. But the first car I bought with my own money, making that payment every month, I washed once a week and babied. And it was a Chevette!

Mr. Jackson was quoting a bit from Franklin D Roosevelt about the Constitution. You will notice during part of his talk, when he mentions housing and such, Mr. Jackson says “he said…”. Mr. Jackson is making reference to what he things FDR would have said. I suspect FDR would not have said the things Mr. Jackson indicates. This video plays very well, and is helped by leaving out the references to FDR made by Mr. Jackson. But, to be fair, I believe it should be noted that Mr. Jackson is making some suppositions about what FDR would have said. Again, I can’t imagine FDR doing this, but this is politics. You can read Mr. Jackson’s entire set of comments on the Congressional Record for March 2.
