  Are you serious? That would be way too taxing for her. She mouths lines using ROTE memory. Anything beyond that, to include absorbing information about a what a Republic is, she cannot and will not do.
  40 some years ago Sarandon starred in a movie called “Joe”. It was a typical 60′s movie that touted the wisdom of youth and the IDIOCY of the grownups. Sarandon is now in her 60′s and has not progressed one whit from those times when she was the cool hippie ingenue railing against the “EVIL” of the establishment.
  Funny too that the mantra of the times back then was, “Don’t trust anyone over thirty”. Maybe someone should tell Sarandon that not only is she over thirty…., she’s a freaking SENIOR CITIZEN!
  To add…,true idiots like Sarandon should not be applying that term to Gov. Walker.

Movie stars have quite a lot of money. How about we tax movie tickets 100%. The celebs could still keep the price down for movie-goers by taking a 50% cut on their exorbitant income. Wouldn’t they feel good doing that?

  Bottom line, it’s all “feel-good”…all about feeling less guilty over their private jets and multi-million dollar mansions by the beach, $1,500 shoes, and their vacation homes around the world. If they can force us by law to fork over our grocery money, that makes them “good, caring people” who deserve that villa in Italy.

  These people really are clueless. They really think little pieces of paper money represent wealth !!!!!!!!! They are about as bright as a night light. Wealth is generated by the labor (and currency represent that labor in an exchangeable form) of people and as such wealth belongs to the person or people who create it. Now if that persons chooses to give it away it is their choice and probably will continue to work industriously. However, if it is taken by compulsion (an unfair portion in the form of large sums through taxes) then the labor that created that wealth by nature will eventually begin to taper off and quit creating wealth. That is why socialism/communism always fails to provide sustained robust economic growth and always maintains a higher unemployment rate while lowering the overall standard of living for everyone. It never ever ever raises the standard of living on a whole as is so seductively promised by those who espouse it’s virtues.

  Sorry but liberal or republican, she’s right. Yes she is rich, but she’s not making gov decisions nor is she running a huge corporation that “donates” hundreds of thousands if not millions to a rich person on the campaign trails.
  
  Corporations, be it big business or big labor out donate “we the people” and we get to vote for who they push for. Not the no name Joe Shmoe that actually is middle class guy with middle class problems.
  
  I didn’t hear her say redistribute the rich people money like Obama and the whole progressive movement is saying nor did I hear her say that she thinks we should cap salaries. I heard her say that “we the people” have lost to the rich. That the rich elect the rich because they have their interest at hand, not ours. IF they had middle class as their interest we would be seeing them ALL pass laws abolishing corporate campaign donations and limiting contributions and making them a non tax deductible item. Along with real term limits, no pensions, no retirement benefits for any and all elected officals. They’d be doing it because they actually have ideas other than banning candles in public places, and passing stupid laws requiring nutritional information on my Hardee’s burger box. (Mind you, if I’m going to Hardee’s, do you really think I give a crap how healthy it is or think twice? No.)
  
  As for the Walker aspect of this. Living in Wisco, I think originally the bill was a play out of the dem handbook with trying to ram it through just cause he had the votes. BUT what they dems did was stupid, then to push through a bill that takes away all bargaining rights, basically stripping public unions all together, was an immature thing to do. Typical left right B.S. Dems were gone for a month. There is absolutely no reason why the two sides couldn’t talk like civilized, rational grown ups and worked something out. Because I know a lot of public workers, I know they would’ve taken all concessions as long as they were left with bargaining rights.

I wondered why to date, Penn has not given his wealth to the poor, sold his mansion, cars and other valuable assets, and given the profits to the illegal immigrants. I wondered why he didn’t move into the ghetto and share his capitalistic spoils with the people he so loves.
