Time-Lapse Video Captures Magnificent Galaxy Photos

If you’ve been waiting to see incredible time-lapse video of the world we live in, this could be it.
Below is a video from Norwegian photographer Terje Sorgjerd taken on El Teide in the Canary Islands. Gizmodo explains: “this time lapse captures the Milky Way galaxy overhead as sand wafts across the landscape as gold clouds.”
That may not do it complete justice, but it tries. See for yourself — and note that the full screen toggle (which you should use!) is in between the “HD” and the word “Vimeo”:

Posted on April 18, 2011 at 8:27amall the god crap diminishes and simplifies the complex nature of things. the bible was written as earth being the center of the universe. this video shows otherwise.

Posted on April 17, 2011 at 9:42pmGod makes everything and all, and the subjects in the photographers work are spectaclular. But this guy’s skill at photography is extrodinary. I especially liked the segment with nebulea rotating in the background and the thin cloud layers bisecting the shot, creating a vivid 3-D effect all during a spectacular sunset. Absolutely stunning. Most people could of walked right by this scene without paying to much attention. But just by some time-lapse and high end, state-of-the-art equipment combined with mad skills unveil an incredible treasure.

Tell me, if you understand.
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone —
while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels shouted for joy?”

Posted on April 17, 2011 at 2:48pmWow that is just awesome!!!!!
This just show us how our naked eyes fail to see the full power and glory of Lord thy GOD!
“He has made the earth by His Power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion. When He utters His voice, there is a multitude of water in the heavens: ‘And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lighting for rain, He brings the wind out of his treasuries.’ Jer 10:12-13
How can anyone watch that and doubt that there is not a divine creator of some kind??? Now from the beginning of mankind people never doubted that a god / divine creator existed they just argued who believed in the correct god. With modern secularism they put down any belief in divine creator by backing their argument with so called “scientific fact” based upon new technology. Truthfully the only thing our new found technology has proven is the amazing vastness of GOD.
So why do we know more but believe less?
“hearing you will hear and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” Acts 28: 26-27
So how have our hearts grown dull?
“Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge; Every metalsmith is put to shame by an image; For his molded image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are futile, a work of errors; In the time of their punishment they shall perish.” Jer 10: 14-15
“Dull-hearted not me …..I don’t have any molded images of false gods.”True I’m sure most people don’t have gold images of something but those images represent their own views of who and what god/s there are. The truth is we do have plenty of molded images that we spend our time with the TV, computer, video games, cell phone, cars……etc. These things have busied lives so much that we don’t take the time to stop and let God amaze us with his vast power and glory all through His handy work of this world and the heavens above! So, unfortunately through our own technology are hearts grow dull.
And for those who still doubt what I am saying think of it. It took a few people/photographers to take the time to set up a camera to shoot hours and hours of footage to be compressed down to 2 1/2 minutes! So we can view it at our convenience because of our hectic lifestyles, instead of taking the time to take in God’s awesomeness for ourselves. Until we change our lifestyles (me included) our hearts will continue to grow dull to God, His power and His glory!
Thanks you for the video of just a sample of God’s awesome vastness!

Posted on April 17, 2011 at 11:38amWhen Moses when shown all of the creations of God, their number and their expanse, he was led to say “now for this cause, I see that man is nothing”. We are so small, yet so arrogant we think we can tell God what is right, wrong, good bad. When I see this, I am humbled to know He is at the helm, that He loves us so much he has given us eyes to see, hearts to feel and freedom to explore.

If this video doesn’t move you and give you pause to be thankful for all you have then your dead.

@ Science – We’re to blame. Check the Book. Every individual has equal access to the cross, which flings open the door to an eternity beyond our comprehension. This video gives us a wee glimpse of what the Creator of science has prepared for us!
