Beck’s Interview With Ben Shapiro: Hollywood Libs Admit They’re ‘A Propaganda Tool’

Today, Glenn Beck had author Ben Shapiro on his radio show to discuss his new book “Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV.” We’ve already covered some of the early revelations from Shapiro’s research here and here, which includes a founding “Sesame Street” executive admitting liberal propaganda was woven into some episodes.

During Shaprio’s interview with Beck, Shapiro chatted about his astounding interviews with left-leaning celebrities who unabashedly admitted their political biases.

Shapiro told Beck, ”They know the power of the medium that they’re using.”

When the Mcarthy hearings were going on all the Communist in Hollywood denied it, as soon as there was no threat from the hearings and it all faded away, they came out and admitted they were communist. It seems we need to stop judging the messengers and looking for perfection and look deeper into the message.

JZS: what you do not say or maybe you don’t get is: some want to promote their message by using different media to subvert the mind with subliminal messages while others want to openly discuss the truth. One is propaganda the other is open unabashed debate. The truth has no agenda……it is discussed openly not shadily snuck in.

Hah, look at the leftards trying to call the kettle black! The “celebrities” Jizzies mention are all political commentators, not pop divas like Oprah, Barbra Stresand, and … just about every other vacuous Hollywood puppet. And it goes way back. Look how the leftist establishment crucified Elia Kazan for “On the Waterfront.” Even Charlton Heston often maintained how even he had to fight for work after speaking out politically. Sorry, toads, it’s a very old game which, typically, has usually been denied. Yes, we always knew it, and pointed it out, but you laughed and called us conspiracy nuts. Now the lid is blown off, so start your cute little damage control, and do your “let’s pretend” bit like a four year old caught with the Oreos — “Oh, THESE cookies?” Go to hell, leftards, go to hell.

As I stated in yesterday’s “Hollywood’s Disdain For Conservatives” article…

I find it comically sad that all those ‘pseudo-intellectual‘ types callin’ the shots in lefty-land Hollywood
absolutely deny any association with influencial ‘trend-setting‘ with a ’pseudo-intellectual’ comment like, “We only reflect current social morays…we don’t create it” or similar bilge…
When, in fact, they ALL know how effective Hitler’s tactic of forcing movie-goers to view outrageous Jewish metaphors of ‘rats scurring in the gutters’ was.

the minute obama began to campaign for 2008, you could actually see the primetime programs change, all lead characters had to be black men, even down to the hit military crime show NCIS suddenly killing off the redheaded woman Director co-lead character and replacing her with the sneaky snake black guy. one of our vets had come home from overseas and started to list his shows, and it came to 18 tv shows he used to enjoy, one by one they fell to the subliminal BLACK MAN IS YOUR LEADER agenda. (altho a few suddenlt had black women In Charge, like the Mentalist had Hightower for awhile… to get America used to Flotus changing everything to suit her anti-American tastes. ) . how tragic for America.

if it is not Glenn Beck, NASCAR, fishing shows, hunting shows , gun shows, deadliest catch, the smoking gun, lizard lick towing, or military channel , history channel , the first 48, it will not be seen on my t v , no i don’t have kids at home any more, but when they were younger, they only watched, buggs bunny , wylie coyote , tom and jerry,or fogg horn legg horn, that was it and they turned out fine,

But you have to listen and watch the other side so that you have the facts (or lack there of them i.e the other side) to make and win your argument.   Well, see, that is the problem. These people are the “useful idiots” Lenin spoke of–the people who are used by those who are hungry for power. They haven’t really thought far enough ahead to figure out what comes next–they’re just enamoured with the Utopian picture the leftists paint–which is a lie, of course. There won’t be anything Utopian about it, if they get their way–and what is really sad is that the “useful idiots” are the first ones to be done away with when they finally do get the power they crave. Because once they have it, they won’t need the useful idiots anymore, and they will have ceased to serve any purpose. One wonders why these people do not have sense enough to study history and see how this works.

  From what I heard today on the program is that this is the first time in our time that someone has them in their own words saying this. Shapiro said that the way he presented himself with a Harvard cap and his last name, that these libs thought he was one of them. This is not new to many of us, but if it is sheds light on others, that is good.

  Maybe the rest of us need to give them a little lesson in diplomacy……and boycott any movie/show in which they participate.   Would it be astounding if right-leaning celebrities unabashedly admitted their political biases? Is it astounding that celebrities like Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, O’Reilly, Hannity etc. “unabashedly admit their political biases?”
  
  Yeah, sure Sesame Street is a liberal propaganda machine with the message: be yourself, respect yourself, respect others despite superficial differences, learn, stay in school, resolve differences peacefully. We certainly don’t want our children absorbing that liberal propaganda (sarcasm).
  
  Okay, “Happy Days” had a “subtle” anti-Vietnam message. I watched that show and didn’t see that and was of almost of draft age, but it’s kind of beside the point. Most of the US has an anti-Vietnam opinion right on the surface. “Friends” (which I’ve never seen a full episode of), was anti-family values because the characters accepted gay people. Well, that was one of the most popular shows ever so “the message” didn’t offend many.
  
  I admire the guy (did you notice he was a bit of a twit?) for making a buck off of the typical poster here. But this is just so much nothing I can hardly believe it.

  We see what happens when people try to make movie that are counter to the socialist culture in Hollywood. When Atlas Shrug had to be made with the director own capital or when Mel had to make the Passion with his own money……Hollywood is dead to me and until they change their course I for one will keep my money and by books the one media source not totally corrupted and taken over by progressives.
