Sen. Joe Lieberman Says He Will Join Beck for ‘Restoring Courage’ in Israel
Yesterday, Glenn Beck announced that Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman will be joining him in Israel this August for the Restoring Courage event. Lieberman appeared on Beck’s FOX News show to publicly discuss his planned attendance.
He told Beck and the audience, “I’m going to stand with you in standing for Israel.”
You can watch the interview below:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. At least Joe Lieberman has something his democrat colleague, Joe Biden never had.. A BRAIN!

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 2:26pmGood for Joe! Friends stand by friends. Sometimes it does take courage to do so but maybe we need to gradually build up this courage. It is quite possible that the courage we develop supporting Israel will make it easier to stand up for America when the time comes. I think that time is coming. Create enough chaos and bad things can happen. That seems to be the road our president has chosen. I think his actions are well thought out and quite deliberate. We need to obey the law and remain peaceful in our efforts because the left will be the ones to fulfill predictions of riots (Carvel).

He’s not standing for re-election from what I hear. So now he’s free to stand openly with the Zionist fascists.
A few years back the democrats, most likely with your mindset, tried to get him un-elected. Their party left him so he went independent. I do not agree with alot of what he says, but I supported him against radical members of the democrat party.
It must frost you to see him be consistent in his beliefs and not change as the winds change. He harks back to an era when democrats and republicans could disagree, but at the end of the day still be Americans.
Not the world you live in, I think.

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 2:14pmThe Democrats in Connecticut voted him out.
When he then ran as an independent, the national GOP betrayed their own candidate nominated at the State GOP convention and openly supported Liebermann, while makig a show of “endorsing” the Republoican – mostly by only a posting on the GOP wbsite.
But their troops and the national talk-radio goons went all-out for Liebermann.
It was the GOP who elected Liebermann as an “independent.”
Funny thing is, that allowed Liebermann to tweak noses in both parties to push his personal agenda.

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 1:14pmGOOD on Joe, He is an independent and retiring. I did not always agree with his politics, but on this one I think it is fine. This is NOT a political event, but enlightenment for the American people. The American people must make their decision as to what their beliefs and strengths are–i.e., ‘restoring courage’. Who you chose as your friends will dictate how you live your own life. If you cannot stand up for friends I doubt you can stand for your own country—therein will take courage. Just my opinion. I STAND FOR ISRAEL.

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 2:50pmA mistake! On June 8, 1967, the fourth day of the Six-Day War, the Israeli high command received reports that Israeli troops in El Arish were being fired upon from the sea, presumably by an Egyptian vessel, as they had a day before. The United States had announced that it had no naval forces within hundreds of miles of the battle front on the floor of the United Nations a few days earlier; however, the USS Liberty, an American intelligence ship under the dual control of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Central Intelligence Agency and the Sixth Fleet, was assigned to monitor the fighting. As a result of a series of United States communication failures, whereby messages directing the ship not to approach within 100 miles were not received by the Liberty, the ship sailed to within 14 miles off the Sinai coast. The Israelis mistakenly thought this was the ship shelling its soldiers and war planes and torpedo boats attacked, killing 34 members of the Liberty’s crew and wounding 171. Ships from the Sixth Fleet were directed to launch four attack aircraft with fighter cover to defend the Liberty, but the planes were recalled after a message was received at the White House that the Israelis had admitted they had attacked the ship.

It was NO MISTAKE.
On June 8, 2005 the USS Liberty Veterans Association submitted A Report of War Crimes Committed Against the USS Liberty, June 8, 1967 to the Department of Defense in accordance with the DoD Law of War Program.
The War Crimes Report we filed lists allegations of acts committed during the attack on our ship, including:
•The jamming of our radios on both US Navy tactical and international maritime distress frequencies;
•The use of unmarked aircraft by the forces attacking the USS Liberty;
•The deliberate machine gunning of life rafts we had dropped over the side in anticipation of abandoning ship; and
•The recall of two flights of rescue aircraft that had been launched from Sixth Fleet aircraft carriers. After those flights were recalled, Sixth Fleet personnel listened to our calls for help as the attack continued knowing they were forbidden to come to our assistance.
The Department of Defense has unilaterally waived its obligation under the Department of Defense Law of War Program by refusing to investigate the allegations contained in the War Crimes Report. The Department of Defense has also refused to provide a speaker to address the crew of the USS Liberty and explain their actions with regard to the War Crimes Report.

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 3:08pmStatement by USS Liberty survivor John Hrankowski:
“We had been surveilled all morning and part of the afternoon by Israeli forces. They knew who we were. We heard them reporting over radio who we were and how we were sailing and where we were sailing. They saw the flag and everything else. We were in international waters.
At 2:00 the action started when we had just completed a general quarters drill. I had just come out or the engine room to get some fresh air when the firing started. That’s when I took my shrapnel hit, nothing fantastic but pieces of shrapnel. I went back to the boiler room and prepared to start lighting off number one boiler to get steam to get out of there.
This persisted for probably 25 or 35 minutes with the aircraft rocketing us and hitting us with everything they had, napalm and cannon fire and after that there was a comparatively small lull. We heard that they were getting hit all over the place and we could see the torpedo boats moving in and firing torpedoes at us, and then one hit and put a 40 foot hole in the side of the ship and knocked all power off. ”
etc etc:

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 3:21pmTapes of the radio transmissions made prior, during and after the attack do not contain any statement suggesting the pilots saw a U.S. flag before the attack on the ship. During the raid, a pilot specifically says, “there is no flag on her!” The recordings also indicate that once the pilots became concerned about the identity of the ship, by virtue of reading its hull number, they terminated the attack and they were given an order to leave the area. Critics claimed the Israeli tape was doctored, but the National Security Agency of the United States released formerly top secret transcripts in July 2003 that confirmed the Israeli version.
A U.S. spy plane was sent to the area as soon as the NSA learned of the attack on the Liberty and recorded the conversations of two Israeli Air Force helicopter pilots, which took place between 2:30 and 3:37 p.m. on June 8. The orders radioed to the pilots by their supervisor at the Hatzor base instructing them to search for Egyptian survivors from the “Egyptian warship” that had just been bombed were also recorded by the NSA. “Pay attention. The ship is now identified as Egyptian,” the pilots were informed. Nine minutes later, Hatzor told the pilots the ship was believed to be an Egyptian cargo ship. At 3:07, the pilots were first told the ship might not be Egyptian and were instructed to search for survivors and inform the base immediately the nationality of the first person they rescued.

Israeli Pilot Speaks Up
http://www.washington-report.org/backissues/0693/9306019.htm
Fifteen years after the attack, an Israeli pilot approached Liberty survivors and then held extensive interviews with former Congressman Paul N. (Pete) McCloskey about his role. According to this senior Israeli lead pilot, he recognized the Liberty as American immediately, so informed his headquarters, and was told to ignore the American flag and continue his attack. He refused to do so and returned to base, where he was arrested.
Later, a dual-citizen Israeli major told survivors that he was in an Israeli war room where he heard that pilot’s radio report. The attacking pilots and everyone in the Israeli war room knew that they were attacking an American ship, the major said. He recanted the statement only after he received threatening phone calls from Israel.
The pilot’s protests also were heard by radio monitors in the U.S. Embassy in Lebanon. Then-U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Dwight Porter has confirmed this. Porter told his story to syndicated columnists Rowland Evans and Robert Novak and offered to submit to further questioning by authorities. Unfortunately, no one in the U.S. government has any interest in hearing these first-person accounts of Israeli treachery.

If I could afford the trip, I would go. Not because of my political stance, which is right of centre, but because Israel is getting a kicking from all sides – quite unfairly in my view.
One should remember that this country presents a line of defense for our values, and they are surrounded by enemies that have stated, openly and continuously, that they wish to exterminate the Israelis. Anybody who goes to Israel to show public support shows they have the courage of their convictions, and I congratulate and applaud them.

I like Glenn in many ways but I disagree with his Zionism and I personally believe Glenn thinks he is a “witness” from Revelations some believe is still in the future.

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 5:04pmU.S. investigators and the controlled media have ignored a preponderance of evidence pointing to Israel’s intelligence agency, the Mossad, being involved in the terror attacks of 9/11.
From the very morning aircraft smashed into the World Trade Center (WTC) and the Pentagon, news reports have indicated Israeli intelligence being involved in the events of 9/11 – and the planting of “false flags” to blame Arab terrorists and mold public opinion to support the pre-planned “war on terror.”
Shortly after the destruction of the twin towers, radio news reports described five “Middle Eastern men” being arrested in New Jersey after having been seen videotaping and celebrating the explosive “collapses” of the WTC.
These men, from a phony moving company in Weehawken, N.J., turned out to be agents of Israeli military intelligence, Mossad. Furthermore, their “moving van” tested positive for explosives.
Dominic Suter, the Israeli owner of Urban Moving Systems, the phony “moving company,” fled in haste, or was allowed to escape, to Israel before FBI agents could interrogate him. The Israeli agents were later returned to Israel on minor visa violations.
