Alleged Al Qaeda Hit List Targeting Specific Americans Posted Online

In the aftermath of Osama’s killing, al Qaeda may be down, but it is certainly not out. NBC New York is reporting that a possible al Qaeda-linked list of Americans designated for assassination has appeared on the web, and law enforcement is taking the threat seriously:

Although the alleged hit list gives many specifics, news outlets do not want to bring further attention to the individuals allegedly designated for death. Still, the outlet does name the targets’ occupations:

The list includes Wall Street firms, political leaders, leaders with think tanks and contractors who do business with the military.

The websites contain 40 specific names, 26 of them with photos attached, and they call for posting home addresses. One jihadist called for sending package bombs to any listed address as just one possibility.

The primary threat in this case would seem to come from a lone wolf terrorist — an individual radicalized due to sympathy but not direct connection to al Qaeda.

This threat, alongside the announcement today that Ayman al-Zawahiri is taking the reins as al Qaeda’s number 1, is a reminder that we face a grave threat from a determined enemy.

Whether al Qaeda intends the alleged hit list to be an operational document, or primarily an attempt to create widespread fear, remains to be seen.

They’ve published a list? Don’t they realize it’s a felony to harm a government official?

Hmmmm, seems this list comes out after they’ve met with our esteemed elected leaders. If it’s all republicans I’d say they got the approval from the oracle in DC.

If there is a list and a specific person is targeted it would be your duty to let them know about it. Just give us the darn list, will you?

If you do not give us the list you will be culpable, and there will be dire consequences.

The government has, as it’s first and foremost duty, the requirement protect the safety of all Americans.

I think we should lump Al Quaeda into the same boat as the UN. That’s the organization that Obama thinks should dictate US policy. They all hate us anyway, and that includes Obama!

  I used to wonder about the same thing Fema, but what do you want to bet that these terrorists meet uncloaked with the Bilderbergs.? They probably set at a round table discussing just how they plan to finish conquering the world. Haven’t you ever wondered why we keep giving all of our oil money to these muslims and they in turn place their terrorrist professors (think Obama’s friend Rashad Khaledi who was involved in the killing of 12 Iraeli Olympic contenders in the 80′s) in our most prestigious colleges,and how the Unions which are socialist/communist based are in charge of our schools?   If I had such a list, I would never ever publish it, it really would defeat the purpose wouldn’t it, but on the otherhand it keeps all morons focused on what I do not want to be known.

Al Quada is winning the strategic information war across the board; along with the media war. In any case of them releasing such information and threats, they do not need to actually carry them out, just the potential of such a threat being capable of working is in their favor…

We have to adapt to their holding of the strategic inititive again.
We have to deal with the fallout and mess that comes as we change.
We have to be more pro-active in dealing with these terrorists.

So long as they hold the edge in the strategic level of information, propaganda, and media success there is no ending to the conflict.

As they say, We can win each and every battle, and still lose the war. Which with this administration cowering and turning tail in all regards, we long have already lost.
