New Video Shows Morgan’s ‘Borderline Creepy’ Questions Before O’Donnell’s CNN Walk-Off

Yesterday, Blaze showed you the testy exchange between CNN host Piers Morgan and former Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell that occurred last night. That clip appeared to show a flustered O’Donnell refusing to give an answer to a straightforward gay marriage question, and then storm off the set, while a smug Piers Morgan pretended to have no idea why she was upset.

Well, that’s not the whole story.

What we’re not finding out is that in the lead-up to that segment, Morgan peppered O’Donnell with questions about sexuality such as “do you still think masturbation is wrong?” O’Donnell tried to take that comment in stride and explained her views on sexuality as a younger activist, but Morgan would not let up.

Morgan then asked her “are you still a supporter of total abstinence?” O’Donnell responded with “Are you the pro-masturbation talk show host?” This attempt at humor and deflection only egged Morgan on.

At that point, O’Donnell tried to change the subject to topics in her book, and Morgan sneeringly inquired “have you committed the sin of lust in your heart?”

We now have the video from CNN showing the awkward exchange:

“He had a decidedly inappropriate line of questions leading up to that, that many people – bloggers, are saying was just border-line creepy,” O’Donnell told WTTG-TV Thursday morning.

“And, I’m trying to move away from it, you know, I’m not a 20-year-old on MTV right now, so let’s get back to the political issues that I lay out in the book – and he wouldn’t let up,” she added. “I was not there to talk about sex – and he would not stop trying to talk about sex.”

WTTG also gave O’Donnell a chance to discuss her book and the thoughts she wants to share with America, instead of asking about sex and “lust.” You can watch below:

  To answer your question, they aren’t afraid of Conservative women, they are afraid of the THREAT that all convservatives pose to the liberal ideology. You gotta understand that it isn’t the Conservatives who enacted all of these liberal progressive policies in place in our school systems, government, media, it is the liberals and their unabashedly biased agenda. Conservatives preach personal responsibility, while liberal progressives preach “it’s always someone else’s fault. ” Conservatives teach abstinence and plan having children according to your budget and within your means, liberal progressives subsidize irresponsible adults who have many children they can’t support, all for votes. Conservatives teach that if you give a man incentive to be his own man and expand his business or idea that he will contribute to society by hiring people or providing a service. LIberal progressives teach that if you were born into a poor family, there is no hope for you because the rich people hoard all of the money and the poor get poorer while the rich get richer. The left hates ALL Conservatives because they directly interfere with their plans for power over the people. Or in their words “power over the MASSES.”

  Oh I don’t know perhaps because some of the issues were how she got herself on TV and attention the first time as the Pro Christian anti-sex guru or perhaps because she discusses some of them in the book. Either way everyone writes their own story and should be prepared to take questions about it. As far as her having a clue about current issues facing the country, and real knowledge or understanding of the Constitution or any remote notion about what actions to take is preposterous.

  I saw one time (can’t remember where) a recruiting siminar for Democrats. They said usually women are democrats, and usually minorities are. I guess they feel betrayed by women who are conservative, and therefore have the right to treat them like crap. I have to look up how many Democrats actually voted for women’s suffrage, or the right to vote. I’ll bet it wasn’t many.

He’s the typical Brit that I have the dis-honor to come across in British pubs here in America when they have a few pints to many and start spouting how terrible we Americans are neanderthals, backward, and our believes in God and liberty are just bunch of simpletons that don’t know what’s good for us. It’s usually shortly afterwards while they get started with their usual diatribe that I leave them bleeding on the floor after reminding them he would have spewing his hatred in German if it weren’t for America….   I have been saying this is what conservatives should do for years, walk out. When an interviewer tries to insuate that your racist or anything else, call them out on it, be indignant not apologetic. Warn them once about stupid gotcha questions and then just leave.   Why should he ask her serious questions; she’s not a serious person. She’s not running for anything, she’s hawking her book, in which she talks about the masturbation issue as well as the witchcraft issue. So he asked her questions about them. Big deal. I’ve heard the audio of her other interviews where she goes on and on and on about the masturbation issue. Do I really care about her opinion on this? Hell no. But, you try to sell your book on CNN, and you talk about such things in it and are famous for the two issues, what do you expect a t.v. interviewer to ask you about?

Ha, I figured must (much). There were many negative comments about her when The Blaze posted the first vid yesterday. I followed her during the election and didn’t find her “wierd” “crazy”. My gut feeling was something wasn’t quite right about this whole “interview” now this. The truth has no agenda. She’s another conservative white woman that the media can and will exploit. Where is NOW? were is code stink (pink)? this line of questioning is sexist.

Again. topics in the book she is promoting is in bounds. He is questioning her about statements she made and issues raised in THE BOOK SHE IS PROMOTING.

If see didn’t want to talk about she should not of written on the topics in her book.

WTTG did not do an interview, they produced an infomercial for her book.

  That is a GREAT point! I encourage every major media figure in America to read both of Barrack Obama’s “autobiographies” and question him relentlessly, in great detail on some of the most radical, leftist elements of both during the 2012 campaign (After all, I’m sure he still wants “his” books “promoted”.   Amen MODEL. If ONLY candidate Obama had been questioned as voraciously about the topics in his books (and radical statements he made in his past), maybe the country wouldn’t be in quite the bad state we’re in since he took office. But this was an asinine and meaningless interview..What was the point of those loaded questions? Oh right, he was trying to make her look uptight and weird, but it mostly made him look rude and creepy. She was very articulate when she was allowed to speak freely about her book; she came across as an intelligent, thoughtful conservative woman.

  Encinom, the book is about OTHER things besides sex. That was what the author was trying to tell him. She answered several of his questions and then tried to steer him back to the overall premise of the book, her reasons for writing it. It’s not a sex book, for petes sake.

A creepy liberal talking about sex. Novel? Not so much! My question is why do conservatives allow themselves to be put into these situations? Talking on CNN is a stupid chance to take, because you are NEVER going to get a fair shake. They used to be somewhat fair, until FOX News came on the air. Now they’re paranoid, and pandering to their base, or should I say their basest instincts? Yep!

  You could see from the edited footage that there was more going on than just a question about witchcraft. Morgan was going for the empty-headed “sexy” stuff rather than tackle the serious subject of the state of this nation with someone who ran for office. The good thing is CNN’s ratings are even worse that MSNBC’s and Morgan will be out of that job soon enough.
