Mass. Gov Caught Riding in SUV After Declaring it ‘Car-Free Week’

“You got me!”

That’s how Massachusetts Gov. Duval Patrick reacted after local news station WBZ-TV caught Patrick driving in his SUV during “car-free week” — a green initiative launched by the governor himself.

“Look, it’s a great initiative for people who can make the most of it,” he told reporters. “I hope they will and I hope during the course of the week to make the most of it, too.”

But he also tried to make light of the situation while quipping, “I carpooled this morning with my trooper. We both had to come together.”

But some local residents aren’t laughing. WBZ has some reaction:

“It’s a little bit of hypocrisy,” observed one commuter.

We asked some regular folks if the Governor was ‘talking the talk’ instead of ‘walking the walk.’

“If he’s going to tell people to do something,” says another man, “he should try to do it himself. That’s the way I see it.”

“He should be a role model for everyone,” one man told us.

To be fair, the outlet does try to give Patrick the benefit of the doubt, noting that he does have a busy schedule and he requires security. But that isn’t a complete free pass.

As for Patrick, he said he will still try to practice what he preaches.

“I got the gotcha question,” the governor admitted. “Believe me, I’m going to do my best.”

Mommy and daddy say do as your are told. “The Parent Syndrome” all leaders get at some point. Ask your boss if he dosen’t feel like he’s babysitting at times.
Look at the country…many people nod, zombi-like, when they listen to our “bosses/leaders” when they speak.(see examples everywhere).
At least the internet can blow holes in these people now( and not have to depend on the msm lying sacks).

Do as I say, not as I do. Our then-governor John Corslime came to talk to us about us replacing our harmless incandescent light bulbs with those mercury hazard ones, and the whole time he talked he left his three SUVs idling at the curb. They behave as if hypocrisy were a virtue.
