Janeane Garofalo: Herman Cain Helps GOP Hide ‘Racist Elements of the Republican Party’

Janeane Garofalo: Cain Helps GOP Hide Racist Elements of the GOP Left-leaning comedian and talking head Janeane Garofalo is back at it, appearing again on Keith Olbermann’s “Countdown” program to chat all things politics.

On Wednesday night, she slammed Republicans, conservatives and Tea Party enthusiasts, calling them racists. As you’ll recall, she said the following back in August (about Cain):

“[He's] in this presidential race because he deflects the racism that is inherit in the Republican party, the conservative movement, the Tea Party certainly.”

Now, she’s following up on these statements with even more commentary about Cain and his presence in the GOP presidential field. Last night, aside from saying that Palin and Fox News have no credibility, she railed on about the GOP’s alleged racism:

“Herman Cain is…is…is…a…is probably well-liked by some of the Republicans, because it hides the racist elements of the Republican Party, conservative movement and Tea Party movement — one in the same…

Herman Cain provides this great opportunity so that you can say ‘look this is not a racist, anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement…look we have a black man over here! Look, he’s polling well and he won a straw poll over here.”

Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey tackles these statements head-on, writing that the arguments presented are “vapid,” as liberals like Garofalo accuse conservatives of racism regardless of how well a minority candidate fares in the polls. He writes:

…this clip encapsulates perfectly how intellectually vapid the Republicans-are-racists argument truly is. If African-Americans don’t do well among Republicans, it’s evidence of racism, and now if they do get support among Republicans, that’s also racism. It’s an unanswerable assertion that not only is completely circular in its logic, it’s also lunacy.

Yes…look, we only have Herman Cain over here and Walter Williams and Larry Elder and Allen West and Mychal Massie and Deneen Borrelli and the rest of Project 21 and Thomas Sowell and Star Parker and Clarence Thomas and Condoleeza Rice and Angela McGlowan and JC Watts and Alan Keyes and Ken Blackwell etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. I guess that proves how conservatives have pulled the wool over these people!.

Is this all they can talk about. One thing Mr Cain can say is he is full blooded black man. And he is a self made man not like Obama. A little bio:
Born poor in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of a chauffeur and a cleaning woman. Grew up in Georgia. Graduated from Morehouse College in 1967 with a B.A. in mathematics. In 1971, received a Masters in computer science from Purdue University.

  @qwillie, we all knew a lot about obama, it was the ones who voted for him that either did not know the truth, or just choice to ignore it , either way they voted him in. and we are stuck with him for now.

Garofalo is the reason they invented Straight Jackets and Thorizene…Her brain as been thoroughly marinated in Marxist Ideology….I recall her being a Love interest on 2 1/2 Men…Good thing I had an Obama Barf Bag handy….Glenn Beck’s stool sample has a higher I.Q and more personality then this Hollyweird Marxist Midget..>!

The leftists judge everybody by the way they “think” because they’re not aware of any other way of looking at the world. They see everything through a lense of race.

Here’s my question, I am a Constitutional Conservative. That is my polotics and has nothing to do with people per se. This woman does not know me. So, how can she call me a racist? Has she met any of you? No? Then how can she call any of us racist? I think she is racist against conservative white people. You know what? The word RACISM OR RACIST means nothing to me anymore. People seem to use it just because they don’t agree with you. This woman is ignorant as to the definition of racist.

Yeah, if we are trying to hide racist elements, then why do we have the real black guy? Obama is only black or white when it suits the occasion. I’ve never heard Cain change his dialect regardless of who he is speaking to. Nice try, Barfoverflo.

The intentional media damage done by the Jean Garafolos of the left should be treated with stronger, quicker, in your face anti-bully tactics because that’s what she is – a bully. That she is given any air time at all is hard to conceive.
