Breathtaking Time-Lapse Video of the Arizona and Utah Skies
We’ve featured time-lapse videos on the site before, and every time we find a new one we are in awe. This latest find is no exception.
Below you’ll see “Landscapes: Volume Two,” a stunning video from Dustin Farrell and Crew West. Farrell explains his work on his Vimeo page:
Landscapes: Volume 2 is the second of a three part series (probably). Every frame of this video is a raw still from a Canon 5D2 DSLR and processed with Adobe software. In Volume 2 I again show off my beautiful home state of Arizona and I also made several trips to Utah. This video has some iconic landmarks that we have seen before. I felt that showing them again with motion controlled HDR and/or night timelapse would be a new way to see old landmarks.
Here are just some of the shots he captured:
To get the full experience, be sure the video is in HD mode, the sound is on, and view it in full screen mode — you won’t be disappointed:

Posted on October 4, 2011 at 6:04pmJust a reminder …
We are born more alike then different.
We proceed more different then alike.
We live together, and, die alone.
Some day, we all must forget where we came from.
Thank you Dustin.

Posted on October 4, 2011 at 4:49pmThere can be heaven on Earth. A temple not made with hands. There is a Supreme Architect of the Universe. God made our bodies just like He made the Earth. Use it or lose it!

Posted on October 4, 2011 at 3:57pmI’ve not had the opportunity to see the night sky in such glory. This is definitely on my bucket list. We are truly blessed to live on our tiny dot of green and blue. God truly did make us unique in all the heavens, didn’t He?

SILENT NO MORE
Posted on October 4, 2011 at 2:10pmYou know, at least every once in a while, we all need reminding of just how small of the puzzle we amount to. It’s a great way to see God’s creations with all the colors of the rainbow and we are to appreciate his work.
With roots in Texas since 1832, I have found God in those mountains all around you. Utah has some of the most beautiful country that can’t be found in such quanities (8 National Parks). Been there 6 times and if you haven’t, do before you die. Meet God in your mist and be in awe.

Posted on October 4, 2011 at 12:56pmThere is nothing the rest of the world has…nothing…that we don’t already have in our own backyards. I’ve traveled about and have lived in many places…but there’s no place like home. I’m sure our service personnel overseas who view these beautiful vids feel the same way. Thank you so much…these are truly breathtaking…

BTW, I have had the gift of living in HI and CO and visited NM and UT many times. As a former athiest, I just couldn’t stand it anymore (all the dang beauty) and was forced to admit that God is amazing. It felt pretty good – still does – feels better than the intellectual sterilization of non-belief or ‘spirituality’ with no compass or touchstone.
Thank you, God! xoxo
